Fabulous camp. Thoroughly recommend it. Quirky and extremely tastefully done. Great pool. Didn't dine but very nice looking restaurant. Needs to be booked before 4pm.

Report Check-In

No more to say, really lovely place, super clean, beautiful made decorations, nice pool! They also have their own waterwhole and we saw there lots of smaller animals in the evening, e.g. warthog, kudu, antilopes, different kind of birds. Camping costs are now 180 NAD p.p.p.n.

Report Check-In

Wonderful evening at Roy’s on our way to The Caprivi from Windhoek. Beautiful ablutions and facilities. Each site with own braai/electricity/water and little grassy lawn. We didn’t go to the restaurant but it looks great, there is a WiFi spot close to the bar. Cute wildlife that walk around the campsite. Would recommend!

Report Check-In

We had a good stay. Everything you need including a pool to cool off. Not too much shade available.

Report Check-In

As described before. Perfect stop over. We stayed at the campsite, nice and private. Clean shared ablutions. Good food at the restaurant, they even made a veggie meal only for me. Very nice atmosphere. Great manager.
We payed N$ 1.045 for 2 ppn in the camp, dinner meals (buffet style) and drinks.

Report Check-In

We’ve been here many times, it’s a great stop over for one night when you on route further north or south of travelling east to Khaudum area. Camping spots very nice with water taps and electricity. Ablutions very good.

Report Check-In

Intended to camp, but a cold front just got into Namibia yesterday, and temps dropped to -5°C during night. Got the last room available (1015 NAD- 65 US). Not cheap. But I just froze coming from Otavi on my motorcycle: windchill -10°C at 10 am! Very nice place.

Report Check-In

this is a very nice campsite in an area where wild camp is almost impossible! it is decorated with heart and has a very good vibe. Nicou the manager is very friendly and he even welded our brocken shock absorber for free! totally recommended! 160pp

Report Check-In

160pppn and you can pay by credit card. 15 chalets and 17 campsites with shadow, water tap, table, electricity, brai and lights.
very clean communal ablutions with hot water by morning and night thanks to a donkey.
waterhole, a lot of birds, cycling and walking trails, playground for kids, kitchen with fridge, big and clean pool, restaurant, bar, bush babies at 6:30pm... slow but free wifi.
we stayed 2 nights, we liked it even if it could be crowded with groups : 4/5 because of the noise of the road.

Report Check-In

Rustic campsite conveniently located between Grootfontein and Etosha. Some shady sites. Power available. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Laundry consisted of a sink. Ablutions are basic.

Report Check-In

Nice place, well maintained with great restaurant, bar and pool.

Report Check-In

quiet nice place, 160 pppn, no game meet for sale

Report Check-In

Excellent stay.. food was amazing well priced ..make sure you order before 4 pm as it’s a buffet. Camp is nice. We will be back.

Report Check-In

Pretty nice campsite with clean ablutions and good, hot shower. N$155/pppn. Braai stand, water tap, electricity and light on every site. Small swimming pool and restaurant (didn’t try either one). Good stopover.

Report Check-In

Our 2nd time here: campsites, ablutions and pool are as nice as we remembered. However the manager and her son (?) were not very friendly nor helpful. Good ‘free’ Wi-Fi, however we felt like we were constantly being scowled at when using the Wi-Fi without buying a drink. The hiking trail (4km) is overgrown and difficult to find your way. We tried to mention this but were met with more rudeness from the manager.

We won’t be going back.

Report Check-In

Great place ideally located! Lots of campsite all with electricity, water tap and braai stands. Ablutions clean with hot water. Located on a game farm so there are plenty wildlife around. We were tired from a long drive so we decided to book for dinner at the restaurant…what a treat! Set menu with Game (Kudu) schnitzel with veggies!!

Report Check-In

This place should not disappoint! During our 3 days here, we ate the fabulous dinners twice. Do it!! It's worth every bit of the price. We were able to stay in the overlander camp spot as there were only 2 other camps occupied. It has a roof over the kitchen which was essential during the evening rain. The host were very accommodating. We chose to tip the ladies directly that prepared the meals. They do work very hard and it was appreciated.

Report Check-In

Lovely place for an overnight.

PRICING INCREASE:

Currently 145 pppn (not per campsite).
This will increase to 155pppn at the end of of October

Report Check-In

Had a lovely stay at Roy's. The pool and bar area are particularly awesome. There is good free wifi at the bar. The bathrooms are clean and have hot water. We had a lovely grassy site.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice place! Agreed with others’ remarks. Paid 130NAD for 1 person, 1 car. Great stop for the night

Report Check-In

Still a cool place to camp, facilities as other comments

Report Check-In

145 pppn. Only two other campers. No wildlife because of the rain. Good place to spend one day, but nothing special.

Report Check-In

Comme signifié précédemment le prix a changé depuis début novembre. Il est maintenant de 145 dollars N par personne et par jour.

Report Check-In

Clean ablution and good shower. Very touristic. Small but nice pool. Braai area and wood available. 145 ND adults and 75 children.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite at the turnoff to C44 towards Khadoum National Park. Great reception, restaurant, bar and pool area. Everything nicely decorated. This also accounts for the campsites: enough space, braai facilities, electrical points and some sites have a water tap point. Ablutions are good and donkey heated. There were some remarks on the quality of wifi, but if you have a rooftop tent, then you have a really good MTC 3G signal on the top of your vehicle ☺.

Report Check-In

Great stopover - lovely campsites and ablutions, eclectic decor, very grateful for the pool. The staff were amazing and the set dinner menu was superb!

Report Check-In

Not as good as written before in my opinion. Campsites are too close together. Wifi is available but bad (at the bar).

Report Check-In

Great. Nothing more to add! Still 130N$ pppn. Great place to base yourself before going to the san living museum, which is also great and well worth the visit!

Report Check-In

As described before. Very arty place with fancy decorations.
Price is 130ND per Person now.

Report Check-In

beautiful campsite, very clean, WiFi is slow but good enough for Mails and Google search. We saw Antelope at the waterhole late afternoon.

Report Check-In

Great for a stopover and to visit the Living Museum for a day. If its for one thing its the food which was exceptional!

Report Check-In

beautifull campsite with swiming pool, nice restaurant and bar. funny decoration all over. we paid 390 namibian dollar for 2 adults and 2 children.

Report Check-In

Really nice place and fantastic food in their restaurant.

Report Check-In

Nice place also for truckcamper, places have electricity, fireplace and some with watertap and a table. The ablution are clean with hot shower, dishwashingplace and a laundry. The bar and restaurant nice designed.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite with several places near grassie spots to sit on or put your tent on.
Places has braai, watertap, electricity and stone table. Spots are big enough and open, so you see the other campers.
There is a bar and restaurant with daily menu. And a small pool. You can walk to a waterhole. At the time we visited the place, the frogs gave a serenade wich you can hear at your site at night. There is a hotspot for wifi and the speed is average.
Price:N$120 pp
Tip:Don't camp near the Overlander spot when they booked for the night. Can be loud. Ask at reception when you book in.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite! No one around when we visited. Ablutions were rustic but clean. Sites have electricity and braai stands. Nice kitchen area. Bar and restaurant nice too. Internet was slow but we didn't come here to surf the web. Cant beat it for $110.

Report Check-In

nice place for stop over. ablutions ok but 2 toilets and 2 showers for ladies not enough when site busy. wifi wasn't good everyone had a problem connecting - I did after persisting for 30mins! reason given was that too many connected already - but there was no one other than those of us trying to connect.

Report Check-In

A great rustic campsite with clean ablutions, bar and restaurant, wood is available
