great spot! level ground, pretty quiet and beautiful views. we arrived around 630pm and left around 10am.
just a note - the entrance to the east is a bit washed out and could be challenging so be sure to use the west entrance to pull in with no problems.
Dope spot right off the side of the road. Stayed in my short school bus and my friends pitched a tent beside it. Would stay here again
Report Check-InStayed one night and had no problems. One other camper van was parked with us. Nice views!
Report Check-InGravel lot on top of a hill by the airport. No signs stating you can’t stay here. Pretty views and kind of in a the middle of nowhere but quick trip to Boulder. Keep it clean so others can enjoy!
Report Check-InFor a pull out, is pretty decent. Great view, free, not far from Boulder ;)
Report Check-InStayed here one night with 4 other RVers. Got a note from Boulder Sheriff at 10am saying no overnight camping is allowed in this area. You can probably get away with one night. Beatiful view. No signs posted anywhere. I would advise entering from the west entrance as the east entrance is really bad.
Report Check-InThe sheriff showed up and told us we were not allowed to camp here, iT was just for parking during the day.
Report Check-Innice parking lot. it is close to main road but barely hear noise. excellent signal verizon and tmobile.
Report Check-InWe got a knock at 8:50pm stating we were trespassing on department of transportation property.
Report Check-InJust parking. Close to road and not much road noise. Good spot for a day or two while in area
Report Check-InBeautiful view of the Flatirons.
There’s two entrances, the one on the east did have a large wash out and with a wide angle turn the van did fine in avoiding it. The entrance on the west looks flatter and easier to use. Google maps directed us to the east entrance.
Small pull off 30 yards from the road. Pull up close to the fence for max blockage from the road. Great view looking west
