Something not right?

Description

There are about 4-5 sweet spots right along the east fork of the hood river plus another 2 that are off the river. The spots right on the water with nice fire pits and level ground. Easily accessible with our camper van. There are some areas with soft sand but if you stay off of it you shouldn’t have any problems.

Amazing spot near the river. Multiple campsites. No service. Good roads for 2WD small clearance vehicles

Pretty busy but it was a hot weekend. Transit van fit without any problems

Great spot by the river with lots of spots. Can get really crowded on weekends and holidays. Thins out significantly during the week.

Wow, I really don’t know what happened to this place. It was sooooooooooo extremely busy! Pulled in Friday afternoon and we found the last spot with a fire ring. We were shocked because last summer we camped here multiple times arriving late Friday night and we would have the whole place to ourselves or a couple other people. Luckily it still is cleaned, but way too many parties going on and people blasting their club music. Sad to say this is no longer our favorite spot. :(

Gravel road comes up fast on you when heading south on 35. There are two different areas of camp spots and we liked the ones on the left near the creek, drowns out the noise from the road.

Was here on Saturday night and just as great as the first time! Added bonus is that we were the only ones there. Great place for the dogs to play with the nice soft sand and big open area on the north end. The place is still pretty clean but be sure to bring a shovel as there are no facilities...there was a bit of toilet paper that we went around and buried.

Really really great spot. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night last month, it was a great spot, and we were able to fit our large lance truck camper in. The spots are nice and flat, although they are somewhat close to the adjacent spots, so expect to have neighbors not too far away. Overall, a good spot right on the river for a quick spot to stay.

Scenic spot on the river. Good for vans or tents. No amenities, no 4g.

Lots of spots. You won’t be the only one here. But a very nice camp spot next to river. Tons of fire wood around too.

Report Check-In

Very nice spot. Quiet and lots of space. Cheers!
