Check our explanations on the "Twe Rivieren" pint ;)

Second time we stayed here. The first time a leopard killed a springbok just a km away from the camp right in front of us, the second time a leopard slept under our truck. In the camp. So take care if you go to the ablutions or the hide at night ;-) Ablutions are clean, showers hot, water and electricity at the camps work. Quiet from 22:00 onwards even when the camp is full.

Report Check-In

Campsite and facilities are all great.
Staff all friendly and helpful.

Report Check-In

Equivalent to Twee Rivieren and Mata-Mata in most aspects but we found that the trees here provide more shade at this season and there are more herbivore animals around here especially at the 3 next waterholes up north. A hide overlooking a waterhole is found next to reception. People saw a brown hyena there 2 days ago. The road to get here (+-50km) is quite corrugated (noisy and bumpy!) and the one leading to northern waterholes too, which totally ruins your safari experience! (Same to Mata-Mata). We are leaving the park one day earlier than expected because of that. No Vodacom signal.

Nice sanpark abultion facilities, electricity, no grass, very little shade and not much wildlife viewing on this side (perhaps just on these days). No network, have to buy wifi - which is expensive.
Nice shop, can buy fresh baked bread daily- nice treat.

Report Check-In

Fresh bread baked daily and can be ordered from the shop by 3pm - cost us R20 per loaf.

Great rest camp with pool (!), shop and fuel station! It’s a bless to have a proper shower again after just quick bush showers in Central Kalahari GR and on the Botswanan side of the KTP. We had a premium campsite with own ablutions; awesome!

Report Check-In

I don’t know what some people always have to complain. The ablution is not so small and it’s very clean what’s more important than the size.
Several campspots with power, water and a braaistand. Yes, they are a bit close together but not all of them. You can walk to a waterhole and enjoy the animals. You can buy Wifi credit at the shop (75.- for 350MB).
We booked the site online and paid 339.- for 2.
They also have prime campsites with a own ablution and maybe for privacy. I don’t know how much they are.

Everything like said before, but the price is now 308,05 Rand for two people per night.
And keep in mind, if your coming from the Botswana side and stay here for one night, you pay the South Africa park fee also. Or you can use/buy the wildcard.

Nossob is our favorite camp on the South African side of the park. Though it is fenced you still feel close to the wildlife. You can hear lions roaring at night. They have a waterhole where you can watch the animals when you are too lazy for a game drive. A lot of campsites have trees or wooden shades. You can choose if you need electricity. The ablutions are brand new. You have a basic shop, a very expensive fuel station and a tiny pool to relax.

Report Check-In

Campsite is quite open with no real control over where people set up which makes privacy difficult. Didn't see much at the water hole. Pool is v small and chairs are v uncomfortable. Other loud, drunk visitors made it unpleasant. But the rest of camp was quiet and stars amazing. Ablutions in good condition.

Report Check-In

All said before. ablutions where very clean and shower hot
fuel is about 20% more expensive than outside the park.

Report Check-In

San park rest camp in fantastic location, quite small for a San park campsite so always booked up, need to book in advance, ablutions ok but always busy, electric at sites but switched off from 22.00 until 5.00. Small shop and fuel here, cost was 280 rand for two plus vehicle. Good game viewing drives from here, pool but was a little dirty at the time as pump was broken

Report Check-In

The campsite was full we were told in the first place. But after asking again and telling a chalet was too expensive for us, the guy all of a sudden had this ' reserve campsite' available. Bit of a strange, not so friendly guy there at the reception not willing to help us with other reservations in the park either. 'Reserve' Campsite is the same, only no powerpoint. 245 Rand for 2 people. Entrance fee to SA side of the park is for int. guests R 280 pp, per day!!!

SANP campsite and chalets. Difficult to get a booking but a lovely drive out here. We had to stay in a chalet as no space in the campground but camping is about 250 rand for 2 people.
