Stayed at many hostels and actually never wrote a review, but for this one I really wanted to take the time to write one because it was literally the BEST HOSTEL I EVER STAYED AT! Together with some other people we met there we just kept extending because it felt so homey. Also a big thank you for the Dutch receptionist Jitske and her roommate Febe: thank you for letting us park our motorbikes at your place!!!

Fantastic hostel, such a great family vibe. The group breakfasts and dinners are awesome, the staff are lovely, the location is good (next to a dope brewery and the central market), and the rooms are comfortable ($7 for 6-bed dorm). Good showers and roof terrace on top of that. The nearby parking for $4 is very tight, maybe 2.2 meters or so, certainly not 2.5 meters like me. There's another bigger lot round the corner, though it's $9...

I spent one month at Community Hostel while my van was being repaired and I have to say, this place was great! Feels like a home, very family vibe, open space, nice showers, nice rooftop view, great access to old town. Parking is available $4/night but has height restrictions.

Highly recommend!

Really good hostel, social but not too much. Friendly staff too. The food is definitely worth the money, really tasty.

I parked my bike in the garage of the buildings owner and didn't have to pay extra, but based on how often she asked when i was leaving she wasn't entirely happy about it.

Community Hostel Quito empowers local communities one location at a time! This hostel is the place to go with a big dining table to help people meet and to see what Quito is all about! Breakfast is $3,50 and dinner is $5, there in house walking tour is amazing and they have there own travel agency to set you up with everything you want and need to do in Ecuador!
