Mexico
Restaurant with palapas on the beach. We parked under their trees and were allowed to use bathroom, shower (both bucket, straight from their own well) and space for only 100 per night (2 ppl in 1 van). We loved this spot, with sweet owner Omar, fresh fish from the boats on our bbq, the crystalclear sea and the funny dogs.
Downside is nasty insects that sting.
Bring enough food and water!
Although there are amazing restaurants here for seafoods, there is not much for breakfast or fruits/veg. Do try neighbour Ernesto’s garlic shrimps!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
In late june only a few people around, nearly everything is closed, it was ok to come with a big rig (3,65h, 8,5m long), it was no Problem to turn, we parked before the last Papalas with a view and stay overnight at the Main road, the about 15 dogs barking sometimes together, the dunes are worth the stop, we do not eat at any place, while only a handful people here
Report Check-InWe stayed in tio alarcon, few meters from here. Is almost the last palapa. Natalia an old kind woman was in charge with her family. It was beautiful. She first asked 100 pesos for staying there. But as we had dinner in her restaurant (her house kitchen) she didn't charge us. We ate fresh fish for 160 pesos and eggs with rice for 70 pesos. She let us charge our cell phones and data mobile worked. Bathrooms were really clean. And if you want a room she had some well prepared for 350 pesos. Great spot to stay and nice family
Report Check-InVery pretty area, I would recommend to stay here if you are passing the area. You don't need to camp outside Delphins, there are many palapas along the beach here with room to park, most people won't try and charge you anything to use theirs and some others ask for some money. Make sure wherever you stay you use their restaurant or tienda to help them out. Enjoy!
Report Check-InPalapa beach side right at the end of the road, the house before the last one that kind does restaurant too.
I was looking for the other site nearby ( Delphin restaurant) but missed it and ended up here for 100 pesos. Old aunty can cook for you. Friendly dogs. No amenities but the place for yourself.
very friendly and nice place. we ate in the restaurant and were able to camp with our van in front and use the bathroom.
Report Check-InWe stay 4 days with our camper van. Nice and cute restaurant. Paulie and her family will take care of you. Fresh fish and shrimps, ceviche etc. You can use their baños. Fishermen beach, no tourists. Peaceful, safe. Sunday family day! Only thing: Mexicans need to take care of their garbages!
Report Check-InThis maybe not be the place place we stayed at, a few rustic beachside restaurants here, fresh fish, friendly people. cell coverage.
Report Check-InWe didn’t find this exact place, but I think any of these places will let you park. Right on the beach. We had a small snack and a small breakfast and they let us park for free. Stray dogs around so they bark sometimes during the night. Also the fisherman go out at night and early in the morning so you’ll have some of the noise from that. All in all very pretty, safe and fairly quiet.
