Chile
Very well maintained campsite situated at the banks of Lake Rosselot. Large sites which you can access almost all only with a tent. New bahtrooms with clean toilets and hot showers. Good location to visit the National Park Queulat. Admission: 4,000 chil.Peso / person. From the visitor center there is a nice hike - about 2.5 hours - to the viewpoint of the glacier Ventisquero Colgante. (Originally 4,000 chil. Pesos / person, but cheaper by action)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Camping seems to be abandoned/closed down forever. Coordinates are correct. Playa is nice to visit. Nice 1 km walk next to the lake. I guess you can freecamp if you jump fence, not public though. Electricity is cut off, running water is broken down beyond fixing and although nice sanitary block its locked. There is an open pit toilet. There are a few shelters to be out of rain, big enough to pitch tent also.
Report Check-InGate was closed. Did not stay. Strangely nobody checked in since 2012? I think it does not operate anymore.
Maybe gps location is not correct?
