A - in parts - rocky gravel road follows the coast for some kilometers. You will find ample camping possibilities, some close to the trees, some on grassy ground, some right at the rocky beach. Very tranquil, inexhaustible fire wood, well away from villages, highway and houses. Access from the Deep Cove Wintering Interpretation Site (signposted 51.2206 -56.7515) or from a turnoff southeast of Anchor Point Village

The road in is rough from either direction - and a great place to park and camp for the night seems to be around every corner
I used the pinned location, but near the water
Report Check-InI actually slept on the parkingspot of the hiking trail (Deep Cove Historical Hiking Trail). It seems to be ok there too but of corse it's more risky to stay there.
But from there you can also get to the other sleeping places which are only 2.2 km away.
But the good thing on my place was there is a toilette on the hiking trail. Maybe not the best and bring for sure some wipes but better than nothing.
We found a spot earlier on the road beside the water crossing. Beautiful scenery. A bit rough coming in but didn't need 4x4.
Report Check-InAbsolutely lovely location! Difficult, rocky road, though. Ideally 4X4 or vehicle with high clearance and good tires.
A perfect trial run if you’re planning on using the Trans Labrador Hwy, lol.
Be sure to check out the boardwalk trail at the entrance. Totally worth your time!
