great campground. two miles down a dirt road from the hwy. lots of spots, about half are in the trees. river flows by down below. so beautiful. $10.
Report Check-InBeautiful location - right along the Wallowa Rvr surrounded by Ponderosa Pine. The campsites themselves are spacious but open aka no privacy - all seem to have a picnic table and firepit. There are clean toilets and numerous water points. I was there on the Thursday prior to Memorial Day long and it was only perhaps 20% occupied. Not sure how full it would be the next night...
Report Check-InSmall campground right on the Wallowa River. Lots of River floating campers as the take out appears to be at the Campground. Full of rambunctious kids. Beautiful area but not so peaceful.
