We wanted to camp in Cal Cheak campground but it was full. We met two Park Rangers and they told us that we could park here. it looks like an open parking gavel lot with no tables or anything. They told us we could stay there paying half fee, we paid 6,5$ per vehicle and you can use all the amenities of the campground (bathroom and garbage cans). There were a lot of other vehicles near doing the same. We were here with our 23' class C motorhome.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Didn’t stay here. Reasons: Under the power lines. Two abandoned cars and a trailer. Lots of discarded furniture. I’d imagine it can turn into a late night party spot.
Report Check-InWould be great if people PICKED UP THEIR TRASH, instead of ruining it for everyone! My friend works for the park and said they might have to get it closed up because it’s trashed!
BE A GOOD HUMAN FFS!
There’s broken glass, wrappers, furniture, cushions,… Also 2 bears in the area! UGH I hate people.
Report Check-Instayed here 2 nights.
great located.
quiet at night and nice access to the river.
Large flat gravel lot next to a beautiful river. The actual campground has a day use area where you can access a suspension bridge and some trails. Using the campground pit toilet is possible. The campground is very nice and costs 15 dollar if you prefer having a proper site. The gravel lot is quiet and big enough to have privacy even with a few other campers on it. Totally recommend it!
Report Check-InGreat huge parking even for big rigs. Not so far from Whistler. No need to wake up early in the morning. We spent 3 nights there with no problems! Even has a nice little trail in the woods to a suspension bridge with fresh water from the river for a morning dip ;-)
Enjoy!
Good spot to camp if Cal Cheak and other area campgrounds are full. It’s a big gravel parking lot that is used for overflow camping.
