Mongolia
The creator of Oasis guesthouse sold it and went to make this place. Fantastic spot on the river, parking for vehicles, everyone knows what's up in the local overland scene. Not in the city but go here instead of Oasis

50 USD two adults for one night in the yert full English breakfast included
10 USD per person to sleep in car, showers included.
We were in off peak season so no one else at the place but it was beautiful. The girls made the fire for us before sleeping then came in at 6am to reheat the yert.
Restaurant available on site, was actually pretty tasty, reasonably priced and the hot showers were awesome.
The hosts were very friendly and offered loads of advice and help if needed.
The kids were adorable and a lot of fun to play with 😁
Report Check-InAfter a turbulent trip we landed at Riverpoint. This was coming home.
Suberb facilities...indeed best showers in Azia 😄. Rene is a realy nice host. We’l be back.
Very nice place. Just to recommend. Very clean facilities! They are very nice and helpful. We had a problem with our Defender and they coule helped us. Perfect service! And you can meet a lot of other overlanders!
Report Check-Innice place but take care your invoice, they dont apply pricing they show, they tried to apply full price for all children. initial price tried was 250000t real price was 110000t.
Report Check-InMixed opinion about this place: certainly the showers are impeccable and the restaurant very nice but the prices are mind-blowing! Salty invoice! We paid for all the kids while only 2 out of 4 had to pay. I asked before giving my laundry if they had a dryer, I was told yes but I washed 15kg of laundry and at the end of the day only half was dry. Pretty disappointed ...
Report Check-InNice and tidy place. Spotless toilet and shower.
Restaurant in the facilities that can serve breakfast, lunch and diner (not included).
But it is really expensive: 30€/person/night to sleep in a yurt.
We ended up pitching our tent since it is much less expensive.
I've attached a picture with the current prices.
This is the right place for real adventurers and overlanders.
20 km away from the city near Tuul river, in Gachuurt village, clean, cozy, surrounded by nature, valleys, mountains and rivers, and near the city at the same time. Stylish Mongolian Gers, Barbecue Facilities, Parking, Restaurant and Bar on site, Motorcycle/Car/ATV rental, horse riding and workshop is all that you need to explore and enjoy the Land of Blue Sky.
Everything perfect here. But at least 5-6 big campers can fit in here.
Report Check-InThis place is like coming home after a long journey. Very friendly staff, excellent bathroom, drinking water filling, restaurant with large terrace overseeing the river. But be careful not to follow a lot your GPS blindfolded. You might end in a dead end. Go to 47.927223,107.163366, then turn right. Don't worry, the road already carried a 40 ton truck 😉
Report Check-InReally amazing place! Beautifully located, superb hosts and "European" standard facilities. We felt like home! The place to be for every kind of overlander - if by car, truck, bicycle or foot ;)
Report Check-InRiver Point
We had a look at all places and this is sure the nicest. First of all it is run by an Austrian, no seriously, the showers are one of the best we have ever had (and we are traveling since 3 years). The laundry is a bit pricey but really good. Food and drinks are delicious and have a really good price value. But the best is the roof top terrace. After the hectic city you will sure come down and relax with this fantastic view over the river and the mountains. When you come here say Rene nice greetings from Stefan with the old 190D ;)
P.S. and if you have any problems with your car, truck or bike they will help you.
And if you stay more than one night ask for a discount.
Brand new campsite with yurts and some place for campers too.
Clean and modern facilities, hot showers, toilets with running water. It had been built and organised by the same Austrian guy who originally built the Oasis Guesthouse as well.
This is now THE overlander hotspot in Mongolia.
Once you turn right to the nearest street there is a barrier that you can just open. Drive 100m more and you get to the place.
It’s right next to the river, you can rent motorbikes and buggies too.
One big rig can fit in.
