Something not right?

Description

On Wharf Road just before the wharf there is a road to the right to a level spot overlooking the fisherman & boats. Small road crescent off a dirty road that surrounds a large rock that may be a monument and there is a small working automated lighthouse nearby. Grass and a fabulous view of the ocean (ok ok Golfe of St-Lawrence). This is near the most western portion of PEI.

No cell signal for Rogers or Fido. But cell signal available for Telus

Great views! Land is no longer for sale and owner has class A parked up there. Lobster season hadn't started yet so it was pretty quiet. Only a few fisherman around, but once lobster season starts in August they said it would be very busy.

The For Sale sign is still there, the parking lot is still available. We didn't stay but thought to check it out while we were in the area. Great view!

Report Check-In

The for sale sign is still here, we found out in the morning that the fishermen are using it now as their temporary parking lot. We thankfully parked on the right side against the tall grass near the light house. By 7am when we woke up to the whole vacant space was filled with parked cars.

Interesting place, also in terms of people working there. If you take with a small car a dirtway to the North, passing the Lighthouse, and passing a parked hanger blocking have of the way, you come to a large natural seaside area, full of grass and green, with lots of space for several cars to be parked directly at the seaside. Quiet. No facilities. Telus 3bars.

There is a for sale sign on this property so its status may change in the future. Several cars came thru last nite to check out the sunset. A pleasure to watch a small working harbour as the boats come and go.
