Latest Check-Ins

Parking by the sea, usually 4.000 Pesos per day, no camping allowed. Seems to be abandoned in low season. After two days the guard Juan came around, he was very friendly and he said it's okay to stay during the week. At the weekend with lots of people you cannot overnight there. The beach is gorgeous, very quiet, just a few surfers and fisherman. We loved this place!

Report Check-In

We spent one night in the large parking lot and left in the morning. No one complained, but it is low season.

Report Check-In

During the week and off season we were allowed to stay for 1 night by the caretaker in front of the surf school - no facilities to be used but lovely beach and humedal for bird watching

It doesn't work at all. This is turning quickly I to a commercial operation which in itself is not all bad, but it's gone for overlanding. The beach itself can't be reached by car, nearby access is limited to day-visitors at 4000clp per car. About one km before reaching the spot there is an open spot near the small river that is heavily frequented by local groups of people. And just before that there is a kayak site where you can camp, at 5000clp per person, with no amenities a part one surprisingly clean chemical bathroom and trash point. No particular view, no direct access to the beach and no access to the Campo de Dunas on the other side of the river. Still nice

Report Check-In

Not allowed to camp or spend the night here, seems that you have to pay to park during the day (4000 pesos).

Hermoso lugar, limpio y tranquilo. La desembocadura del rio en el mar le da un aspecto inigualable
Absolutamente recomendable

Report Check-In

Not allowed to camp/stay overnight anymore

Most beautiful spot to enjoy the beauty of Chile. It is located right next to the Pacific Ocean, at the beach, surrounded by nature. The place is known to be THE surf spot. Don’t hesitate to ask to rent a surf equipment or a Kajak or even book a surf lesson.
