We had a very good veggie pizza ($8.00 fed us both)here last night and tonight (Friday) we enjoyed the goulash ($4.50). I thought it was more like ordinary stew but none the less we liked it very much and the homemade bread it was served with. I drank the cerveza negra on tap and thought it was very good. (We didn’t camp here, we camped with Pedro at the Peñón del Sol just up the road, highly recommended). Tomorrow is bbq night and I think we will have to go!

Mayer is incredible "true". Enjoy him and his great pizza. BUT not just that, he also sells home made stuff like bread, wine, sauerkraut, smoked fish etc. Things you usually don't get in a normal supermarket and things which you normally like to have as an overlander.

Verry Nice Owner, good Pizza.
Good for one Big Rig. Park at the Road directly to hes Restaurant.
Good Wifi
He also has Breakfast

The pizza is super delicious and every Friday, they have goulash with home-baked bread for just 4,5 $
Mayer also got some good stories to tell and knows a guy for literally everything I this area. Had no issues camping at the road - definitely worth stopping by.

After we were stuckes in a river bed 100 metres from this place, we asked the owner for help. He asked six of his workers to help us and we were able to get out of the river (see spot next to this one). We spent the remaining evening at this place and had very tasty pizza and german gulasch (only on fridays). The owner, Meier, talked with us the whole evening about life in ecuador and a lot more. he also offered us to use his showers in the morning. Very very friendly host. The prices of the restaurand are 5 to 8 dollars and 1.50 for 0.5l of Pilsener

Restaurante pizzeria regentado por Mayer, un alemán dispuesto a ayudar. tiene aparcamiento donde dormimos en nuestro coche. cenamos en el restaurante una pizza muy buena! tiene baño y Wi-Fi, perfecto para pasar la noche. no nos cobro por la estancia

The East Berlin Original "Mayer" runs a restaurant / pub at the end of the beach. You can park your car at the side of the road and camp there or rent Cabana. We were allowed to use the toilet and cold shower of Cabana. At Mayer's, there is a real yummy pizza and entertainment ("Vaste de wat ick mene, oda?")
