This place is pretty great. The road back is washboarded in several areas, but manageable for any vehicle. The campground has 8 single sites & 1 very large group site. 3 single sites can accommodate large rigs. All have a picnic table and metal fire ring. There is a pit toilet but not sure of the cleanliness. A few one night campers, but for the majority of my 4 night stay, there was only 1 other camper. It was extremely quiet & peaceful. Cows grazing in the dry reservoir every day and one morning a large herd of mule deer passed through. Great service on Verizon & TMobile. Highly recommend!
Report Check-InReservoir is dry but still a lovely place to stay. Easy access. Lots of camping spots, picnic tables. No toilet paper in vault toilets.
Report Check-InThe 5 miles of dirt road from the highway is easy in any vehicle. We’re in a 40’ RV with a tow and had no problem. No one else here as of 7:30pm.
There’s a clean pit toilet and maybe 8 designated spots. A few spots are perfect for big rigs. Mostly level. Picnic tables and metal fire pits at church each site.
No water in the reservoir but plenty of birds. I’ve seen a bunch of animal tracks, mostly cow probably.
Great AT&T signal. 26mgb download!
Report Check-InReservoir was dry. We were the only people there. Probably about 16 spaces, reasonably well separated. Bathrooms very clean and well stocked. View across (dry) reservoir was very nice. There are one or two pull through sites. Quiet and dark at night.
Report Check-InFree campground directly at the lakeshore. Nice hiking trail to a cave.
