Stayed here 3 nights. Loved it! Very quiet place right next to the beach. Wild nature (pelicans, foxes, etc.) and a lot of different coloured stones
1.) exit highway at sign Chungungo
2.) follow dirt road untill sign Caleta Totoralillo norte
3.) drive down until the bay
4.) choose the spot you like
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice place with lots of different spots to set up your camp. Nice and quit, our first night without dogs! Some places are cleaner then others but we found a place with almost no trash. Had 3G reception with Entel. Follow google for the route because maps.me gives an alternative route (very, very dirt road), and when you are almost at the end of it, you can not go further because it’s prohibited. The google maps route is better, but told us to continue the high way and then go back for an exit. That’s not necessary. Just take the exit close to this campsite (we came from the south).
Report Check-InSome ruins to stay in, access and amenities as described. No cell coverage.
Report Check-InOne of the nicest spots we wild camped in, lots of flat space to park right next to the sea with easy access as described below! A few locals fish there during the day but leave you alone with crashing waves once it gets dark! Lots of pelicans to admire too!!
