Large gravel area with plenty of level space to camp. Nice view over the bay. Access to the rocky shore possible but difficult. Improvised fire pits, bring your own wood. Some noise from the little traveled highway. You are hardly visible from the highway.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Turn to the right when you get off the road. Large gravel spot as described.
Report Check-InA little hard to see turn off from the highway but great spot. 6 campers here last night.
Someone dumped a load of vegetables over the bank. Not far enough to fall into the ocean. Now they are rotting. Not a nice smell.
Very large gravel area with great views of the bay. No signs to keep out. No traffic noise. No water, no toilet, no trash. One other camper van joined us. Plenty of room.
Report Check-InNo for sale signs. There is a very newly developed lot with new driveway access and trailer on it immediately to the southwest of this spot. This place still works - plenty of room for three vans or trucks - EXCEPT - someone had recently dumped a barrel of dead fish and some grass clippings and brush. The pile of fish stunk BAD! We did not stay. Otherwise this would be nice spot as described previously. There were also a few old caribou or moose or deer skins rotting in places.
Report Check-InNice place with view on the sea. Perfect to see sunset. We have seen 4 sea otters.
The place is still for sale.
The For Sale signs are still up. Spent one night, never seen another person. Nice views and sunset.
Report Check-Innice little spot overlooking the water as described. we stayed 2 nights. however the land is now for sale so not sure how much longer this spot will be around
Report Check-InAs described. Looks like a housing development that wasn’t completed. Stayed here last July 2019 also.
Report Check-InNice level parking for several RVs here, plenty of room for our 30 ft motorhome. Nice view of the ocean. You can hear the waves. Some trees provide some shelter from the wind. I would stay here again.
Report Check-InAs described, perfect spot to spend the night. Bit dirty though, people seem to dump trash here and not keep it clean. It didnt bother us though. We had a nice Campfire from wood we brought ourselves and spend a quiet night to the sound of the waves.
Report Check-InLot of space, close to the sea, firepits.
We spent 4 nights there.
Free shower at the park info center.
We cleaned the site as people use to throw garbage in the woods or the ocean.
As described...great place for the night! Even had a bear visit in the early morning!
Report Check-InGood and quiet place to cut the journey traveling north or south, not to far from TransCanada highway and dumping station. 3 RV last night plenty of room
Report Check-InAgree with other reviews. We had a nice, quiet sunset here all to ourselves. Lots of trees blocking you from the highway. Lovely spot.
Report Check-InReally quiet place with an fantastic ocean view. There is no noise from the road.
Report Check-InPretty good for a gravel spot. Unfortunately for us, it is still raining with a fury. It still does the trick.
Report Check-InLarge gravel area with plenty of level space to camp. Nice view over the bay. Access to the rocky shore possible but difficult. Improvised fire pits, bring your own wood. Some noise from the little traveled highway. You are hardly visible from the highway.
