we arrived at 5:30 pm, door is closed and no one answers... we'll go to the gas station...

Report Check-In

Easy to find. Service in english. Water.dump 110v for 350 pesos cash. 100% gravel

Report Check-In

We were glad to see this place still open. New concrete walls surrounding entrance, big sign, visible coming from the north. Clean gravel all through yard. Dora took over after brother Edgar passed. Shower up and running, hot water on the right side of faucet. Will stop again on our way home. Have been here in 2011 and 2018.

Report Check-In

it was closed at 9pm. no phone number so we ended up at VIP Gas

Report Check-In

The only campsite in the area.
The new sanitary building will probably never be finished.
Currently there is only one sanitary room with shower WC and sink. The door can not be locked and opens by itself.
It is staker street noise, with a Permex it will probably not be louder. 350 pesos per night is too much for what is offered. The only thing that works well is the wifi.

Report Check-In

Same great place, with some improvements - a new entrance and the common area is fixed up a bit.

Dora as always is accommodating. She took 20 USD in lieu of 350 Pesos.

A good quiet, safe, peaceful night.

Report Check-In

350 pesos per night, truck and camper. Dog friendly. Nice grounds, shaded sitting area, bathroom / shower was clean but pretty old. Road noise from the highway. Decent place to stay over night as you head south.

Report Check-In

C’est parfait pour un 1er arrêt près de la frontière avec les enfants . Dora, l’a proprio est très gentille et parle anglais. Nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité. Simple stationnement avec eau,électricité et petite terrasse pour relaxer.

Report Check-In

As described before, safe place for a night. They have a toilet and a hot shower.
350 Pesos for 2 and a Van.

Nous avons éte bien accueillis par Dora, la propriétaire.
20 dollars pour la nuit, endroit tranquille et pittoresque.
Les portes de l'entrée sont fermées durant la nuit.

Report Check-In

We really appreciated this stop and the owner Dora. We paid 350 pesos. We needed a stop after crossing the border and it worked well for us. There was a room with a toilet that flushed, and it was fairly clean. Bring your own toilet paper, as is usual in many Mexican toilets. It seemed like they were working on improving the facilities.

Report Check-In

there is water and electricity, no toilets or showers, just next to the street with a lot of noise and dogs barking all night. at night after midnight the owner starts to drag things along with a lot of noise and when asked if we may sleep I get the answer that he has to work. they charge 350 pesos per night. if it's not necessary to stay there for 1 night don't do it.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for one night. As mentioned before it was perfect for that. It was a bit hard to find as there are no signs at the gates. But it’s just at the main road.

When we arrived there was no one there but owner came back after a short wait and we were the only ones there so plenty of space. Wifi was good, didn’t use the bathrooms so can’t tell wether they’re clean or not. But the camp ground jtself was clean.
They close the gates at around 10 or 11 so it’s safe !

The owner was friendly. At night him and his friend had a lot of beer to drink that we saw with the bottles laying around at his house in the morning but they weren’t loud or anything.
Would recommend for people passing and having to stop for a night! 300p per night

Report Check-In

Night was terribly noisy. Trucks traffic and dogs barking all night long. Ear plugs mandatory.

Report Check-In

In May 2022 the hardest part is finding the entrance on the highway. It will be two brick columns when construction is complete but for now there are no signs.
Luis is very helpful and speaks English. All facilities- power water and sewer with WiFi functioning across the parking area.
There is some traffic noise as the park entrance is on the highway but it’s not intrusive.
This strategically placed RV park is the ideal stop between the border and Guaymas and we were relieved it was open.

Report Check-In

Other reports accurate. Very well maintained gravel (no dirty dirt) RV lot perfect to stage a morning border crossing to Nogalas. Dora, the hostess, is very welcoming and makes sure you’re comfortable

Report Check-In

We're back again. Still a great place to overnight before or after crossing the border. 350 per night.

Report Check-In

just parkinglot near the hw. noisy and no shade. nice lady but 350 peso is too expensive.

Report Check-In

nothing more than a parkinglot near hw. no shade no people/campers. nice lady but they charge 350 pesos which is far too much. we left

Report Check-In

Great park, stayed here in 2016 and hasn’t changed much. Miss talking to Edgar🙁

Report Check-In

quiet camping, a little road noise, Dora greeted us , and love to see more campers. now that people can travel, short drive to and from the border.

Report Check-In

Arrêtez vous ! Dora est très gentille :) L’endroit est simple mais on se sent comme chez sois et en sécurité. Parfait pour faire une pause entre 2 journées de route.

Report Check-In

The place is very clean, including the refurbished restroom. There is a cold shower available. As others have said, the patio area is nice and a great place to relax after driving all day. We were the only ones there so we didn’t argue with the cost of 350 pesos. Seems that business has been down due to covid and she can really use the income. Road noise was not too bad once we got in the camper. The outdoor restaurant across the street and just to the north was clean and good.

Report Check-In

Great place now! And only 250 for our campervan, with plugin. Great value!

And Dora the owner is very accommodating. We'll be back.

Report Check-In

A welcome oasis, a small, safe place to stop for the night after crossing the border before heading south. Dora and Luis made us feel welcome. No shower, just a toilet, 150 Ps for our Toyota Sienna sleep in car.

Report Check-In

Nice and clean place. With no shower, but pitches with electricity. When we arrived, we were the only rig and Luis, the owner, was disapointed and sorry because he was organising a party at night. We had noise at night because of the party, but Luis let us sleep for free because of the noise.

Report Check-In

Very run down Place. Lot’s of trash laying around. Toilet not cleaned for month’s. Shower not working.
Very loud because directly at the highway.
400 Pesos dry camping -NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Report Check-In

Nice family ran rv park, great for an overnight stop on your way in or out of Mexico.

Report Check-In

RV park along Hwy 15.
safe, small park, easy access and departure. full hook-ups, shower and flush toilets operating now. $300 pesos per night. Dora speaks excellent English, and is friendly and hospitable. Nice patio area with table & chairs. good internet connection. a bit of road noise from hwy 15, but tolerable. gates locked at night, so safe and secure. A relaxing stay for a day or two as you cross into Mexico or stop in on your way home. excellent service from Dora and Luis.

Report Check-In

Nice clean place, perfect for one night. There is some trafic noise but not to bad. Now is hot water in the shower. We paid 250 peso without hookup.

Report Check-In

Very friendly owner named Dora, she speaks very good English. Patronize this place she is struggling .
It’s a medium size flat gravel lot with electricity and wifi.

Report Check-In

Nice stop over. Easy to find (right off the main street, which is also highway 2). On our way to San Carlos. Nice hosts. Family operated. I had a problem with my trailer and needed a part. Edgar drove me to the local Auto Zone to try and find it. Noisy at night (the busses and trucks going down the street). A pleasant/convenient stay.

Report Check-In

Bathroom and shower are working now. No hot water though. $250 pesos per night.

Decent spot clean and well kept. A lot of truck noise from the road, but it's a good and safe place to stay near the border.

Report Check-In

As said before nice enough for one night stay.
Not chancing anything, but we could not hook up to internet - however our 4g was fine.
Still no bathroom.

Report Check-In

Basically just a parking lot but clean and ok for one night before crossing the border.

Report Check-In

Clean and more improvement to come. Friendly host.
300mxp seems expensive.
Some «sites» with sewer, water and 15amp electricity.
Wifi is good on the patio.
New washroom almost done. Cold shower. There will be hot water installed for the next season, she said.
Noisiest RV Park we’ve visited. Right by hwy15. Plan differently if you can.

Report Check-In

After I read all the comments, I was prepared for the worst....BUT...this is such a lovely place. it really looks like Dora made a lot of improvements. The bathhouse was still closed bc still under construction, but each site has water, sewer and new electricity. Don't forget to bring an adapter! Dora is more than welcoming. She wasn't there when we left the next morning so she gave me a call to say good bye. in the middle of the campground thy are building like a community place where we sat down and met other travellers and had a great time! We would definitely stop there again.

Report Check-In

as per another traveler, Edgar's sister is running the place and has made some upgrades to the infrastructure and landscaping.

Report Check-In

basic stopover. safe. no bathroom or water. renewing bathroom? just electricity. payed 200pesso. asked 250 naked!

Report Check-In

Quaint little place. Somewhat informal sites. The woman that checked us in is apparently the former owners sister. Easy in easy out. 300 pesos for the night.

Report Check-In

Great stopping point for the border on your way in or out of Nogales. Basic set up with big RV room, elec and water hook ups too. only 300 pesos a night and the lady was really lovely and spoke decent English too. the restaurant just down the road has decent food, try the steak schnitzel (milanese breaded steak). a tonne of food for cheap that is decent!

Report Check-In

Excellent place to stop for a night or two, there are some interesting sights to see in the area that we will catch on way home in spring. Brand new electrical, neatly gravelled lot, water and sewer all good shape. Super friendly host Dora and family are keeping family tradition of Edgar & Ana going.

Report Check-In

Sadly Edgar passed away a week ago. His family tries to keep this place open and make improvements. With motorcycle and tent I paid 100 pesos. WiFi was working, toilet was ok. Noisy due to the highway.

Report Check-In

The RV Park is really run down. But electricity did work well. Edgar is sick and stays in bed. John is managing the park. We paid MEX 300.-

Report Check-In

run down for sure but a nice sage little place to stop for the night. Santa Ana is not just for blowing through and Edgar has a story to tell for sure. ex rock and roll star. recently widowed he could use your support. water and electricity here.

Report Check-In

Stopped a night here on the way back to Nogales, just to break up the trip. Power and water connections. Lovely owner, Edgar over for a chat. Speaks very good English. Sadly his wife Ana passed away a couple of years ago.

Report Check-In

just an overnight kind of place before or after the border crossing in Nogales. Large fenced lot with some electricity and water. Gate locked in evening around 7 and opened next morning around 8. Honestly the fence can easily be jumped. 200 pesos for the night.

Report Check-In

Edgar Ozunas owner, 74, RV Park has water and 110 vac, great stopping over place, it is secure, locks gate at 7pm and opens at 7am, very nice guy needs your business

Report Check-In

250 pesos and i didnt need electric or a bathroom. I wasnt going to argue. 50 pesos is like $3. After a late start from Tucson i was done driving. Nice view over the town. Good meal at Elba's down the highway.

Report Check-In

Very nice and rustic. Talk to the owner if you like to learn some history.

Report Check-In

After an harassing day of border crossings, we spent one night here.
The owner, Edgar, is indeed very friendly.
He opened the small house at the entrance of the park, so we could have access to restrooms (which were really OK !)
He charged us 100 pesos for our campervan (no hook-up needed)
He accepts american dollars as well, and, in that case, it would have been 6 USD

Report Check-In

Campground is as described below. we are spending one night on our journey
The electricity is good enough to run our a/c. Running fridge & wtr heater on lpg. No extra drain on electricity that way.

WiFi not very good. My phone connected but not the laptop.
200 Pesos for 25ft travel trailer w/ 2 people.
If you get the chance , talk to Edgar. A very interesting Hombre!

We are thankful there is a Campground here. Many in Mexico has ever closed.

Report Check-In

Owner was friendly & spoke good English. Did not use the bathrooms (were not told where they were and we didn't ask). Had water, sewer & 15 amp power. Great wi-fi. This was a one night stay after crossing the border that day. $200 pesos/night. Not a destination campground, but great for 1 or 2 nights, especially if you crossed the border late or want to be close to Nogales for a Northbound crossing the next morning.

Report Check-In

we pay 130 Pesos, the bathroom is not possible to use... the owners are very friendly

Report Check-In

Pure transit campground with very nice American / Mexican owners. Electricity / water / waste water at site. The bathrooms are located in a for a long time not used hut and were kept by the owner so poorly we did not use them.

(Originally 150 pesos / day, but 20 pesos less after an inquiry, since we do not require power)
