Something not right?

Description

Balneario with thermal hot spring which are cooled via individual basins. The water temperature is between 20 and 40 degrees celsius. One pool is approximately 12 meters long and has a temperature of 28 degrees celsius which is very good for swimming (especially in winter). Clean bathrooms with open showers. Very well kept garden in which the hedges are groomed in geometric shapes or to animals. Power at site. The only negative thing: When we paid to stay for an extra day we were not informed that the pools will be cleaned and therefore will not be for use. For 280 pesos it is too expensive just as a transit campground.

Latest Check-Ins

This place is pretty much run down. Showers are cold. Toilets on camping area are dirty. Water in pools looks a bit dirty.
Wouldn't go again.

The place is still on run. Worth to stop for a night and to enjoy the bath. We were the only RV but in the back were some Hotelguests. Coming from the Mariposas, it is a beautiful drive through this nature park, reaching over 3000mtr above sea level up at the lakes. The street is in good condition.

Great, well maintained and clean garden with many topiaries, a hot pool (106°F), 5 big warm pools (92°F) and a big cool pool, toilets and cold showers. The water contains many minerals especially iron and looks silky. Some music and noise from day visitors but very quiet at night when you have the place for yourself during the week. Easy access via a 500 m narrow dirt road. We checked the other Los Azufres Hot Springs and Erendira is the nicest and quietest option.

Even on saturday was the campsite for ourself. The hotpool early in the morning also. Later was full.

Very nice place for an overnight stop. Beautifuly set in the forest, very well taken care about. A bit expensive though at 280 Pesos for 2 persons and a truck camper.

Like the visitors before....but the pools were dirty ! No hot showers ......and you have to shower after going into the pools, so not really fun at 10 degrees at 11.00 am....
if you are no interest to go in the pools....to expensive just for a night stay....
Pro..very quiet night from monday to tuesday.....no one there...

Nice campground with onsite restaurant (delicious trout with garlic) cabins for rent, massage service and of course the thermal mineral pools. The quietest sleep we've had in Mexico - no dogs or roosters. We stayed midweek so bad the place completely to ourselves. Likely different scene on weekends.
