Description

It's worth visiting this campsite because its owner, the Swiss Martin! Beautiful campsite in a well maintained resort overlooking the ocean. Power at site. Good restaurant with free WIFI. Martin has an excellent knowledge of the environment and took our guest to a several-hours bike ride.

Price:
The price is now 150 / night which given the amenities seems fair.
Wifi / Cell:
Wifi is great, depending on how many people arrive and then it might drop to a bit slow. But, great for a campsite for sure. Telcel is strong and fast. Dod not try other providers.
Big Rigs:
Ram 3500 and Camper plus bigger Iveco with Living Box on the back were there at the same time so I removed the 'not for bigger rigs. We could turn our 6+ metre truck camper around and back in. Seems to be enough room for two larger rigs towards the beach. See pics.

Amazing location!
Martin the owner is Swiss and speaks good French. Its place is a paradise with beautiful access to the beach. We spent 4 nights. Electricity, water and shower.
150 pesos per person. Dogs welcome.

Report Check-In

Nice place. Absolute recommendation! Spent a quiet afternoon on the beach chairs there, annoyed some crabs with the dogs and had a quiet night.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits chez Martin, un petit coin très tranquille en bord de plage, Martin est super accueillant c'était un palisir. 400$MX pour 2 adultes et 3 enfants avec électricité.

All information below is correct! Such a nice place! 120pp/night in our big camper. Wounderful Italian food from Eric.

Report Check-In

Nice place right by the sea. Martin, the owner, has a lovely site with a few apartments to rent, campsites for tents and room for a larger camper or two. We had a place by the sea. It was wonderful! Martin and his son Eric helped us with our broken van. Eric ordered some parts from Amazon for us. There is no better place to stay here.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay! Friendly staff, beautiful beach and relaxed atmosphere. Not much space for vans, but one or two can fit. They were very welcoming to our dog too. Great WiFi and delicious pizza’s!

Report Check-In

Place looks nice for weekend travelers but for campers the place they allow to set up tent in is either grassy but too sunny of shaded but too sandy. Either way the weekend travelers will be seating in right next to you and they will be drinking, shouting and playing loud music.
Bathrooms are a mess, there's only one WC and two showers for all campers and weekend travelers.
If you want peace and quiet, this place is not good for camping.

Report Check-In

We came in and expecting to see a campground. All we saw was a hotel with maybe space for 2 campers on the grass at the back. Provided they would get along as you would not be able to move the one at the back without moving the other one it was that tight! I had to do a 5 point turn to turn around in my car! Plenty of genuine campground options with lots of space along this beach so we didn't stay.

Report Check-In

Wonderful small, very quiet clean place with a Restaurant (Super Pizza, homemade Bread & Noodles). Super nice beach. Martin, the Swiss Owner is fantastic. WiFi, Water, Showers, Toilets, Energy. Breakfast possible

Report Check-In

Great campsite. We went for 2 nights and ended up staying for 9. Martin, the owner, is great. Fun, friendly, Swiss. His son now runs the restaurant and the food is really quite excellent. Try the broken eggs. Hot cakes were great too, as was the pizza. They serve the coffee in a French press. It's surprisingly good by any restaurant standards let alone attached to a campsite. Great prices too.

The bathrooms were a bit of a mess and at one point unbearably bad. But we were there over Semana Santa. It wasn't that busy but they could do with sorting out to be honest. But, we also had electricity, there is filtered water by the sink and Martin can gran you some garaffons if you want to fill your tank with super clean water (there is a hose and city water too)

Overall a great place to stop. Highly recommended.

We read all the positiv posts and it is still a wonderful place to be. Parking next to the ocean with almost no people on the beach. You can walk forever and if you are a kitesurfer with your own stuff, the wind is mostly sideshore, great kiting! Martin is still the owner and a perfect host. His son took over the Restaurant and he organizes live concerts once a month, we listened to a great bluesband. We planed to stay 2 nights and ended up with 2 weeks, says it all! Thank you Martin for the wonderful time.

Report Check-In

We arrived on 29.11.2020. From planned few days it turned to 29 days! Martin is very helpful and always activ to satisfy the customers. Palapas and Beach are nice, food can be served to the beach instead Restaurant at the street side. Showers and Toilets are reasonable, power good, Wifi good, works 90% of the time. 13 rooms in 3 houses plus restaurant. Camping for Tents and about 4 Camper Vans at Beach side. Up to 8m length o.k.. Long walks along the beach. Dogs allowed. Recommend to stop here in a familiar atmosphare.

100 pesos per person, wasn't really worth it. Felt like we were parking in their driveway. It's not really a place meant for camping. Facilities not very clean. Wifi worked 5% of the time.

Price is now $100mxp/pp/night, and $50/dog. WiFi is a little spotty.

For me this place is a magic one. We been here for 3 weeks now. Martin the owner is helpful with everything you need. The place is directly at an almost private part of the beach. This time of the year the ocean is nice and warm. No big waves. The restaurant is really good. You should try. The is some headroom for improvement- on that he’s working at the moment. So go there and check it out yourselves. It’s definitely worth it!!!!

Report Check-In

We stayed here for more than a week around New Year’s Eve and really enjoyed the place. Martin and his family running the place are really nice and there was a good buffet and a nice little party with a campfire on the beach on New Year’s Eve. On the downside there is a very busy road running close by, WIFI was very erratic and most of the time there was no warm water in the showers.

Martin and Rosio are very friendly and talkative. we had two perfect nights here. waking up with the view of the ocean. hammocks to chill. palapas for shade. a restaurant on site with excellent food. clean showers and toilets.
we paid 150 pesos/2 people per night.

We stayed there for several days. Martin, the owner, is a hero. He showed us turtles by a tours on the beach by night. We brought the little ones save to the sea. Martin is a service man. He brought us breakfast and dinner to our RV and told us many interesting stories. We liked it to visit his campground.

Really nice, quiet night. The owner Martin is great, super nice and very fun to talk to! Thanks Martin!

Report Check-In

There is space for 2-3 campervans. The owner Martin is Swiss and really friendly like all staff. Good food in the restaurant. We payed 100 pesos per person/night for camping. Showers an restrooms are old and do not work all the time.

Report Check-In

Beautiful friendly place. great for small campers, tents and they have rooms if that fits your fancy. Cool breeze ocean view, what more could one ask for. The beach is very windy and I saw in the other three locations posted on here some remarks trying to deal with the high wind, this place is tucked back just enough or has some features that block tge wind that at tge camp spots its down to a perfect breeze! We loved it here. Great Vibe, but remember the lack of parking for big rigs....

Report Check-In

great place not easy to turn around inside maybe better to reverse in.
martin & staff make the place with a small private beach & nice breeze.

Report Check-In

nice place small but quiet beach,
owner martin & staff make the place nice & relaxing.
maybe easier if you reverse bigger rigs in.

Report Check-In

nice owner, beautiful place and very good food.
and there was a nice breeze here;)

Report Check-In

Very narrow entrance with low over hanging trees, almost no area to turn around. Very little breeze can get to campsite because of foliage. Was very hot. Beach is short for walking. To use internet must sit at tables outside. Mosquitos are bad. Pretty enough place though.

Report Check-In

Our camper is a 26ft,class C motorhome. We stayed 2 nights here. It was not easy to turn around, very limited space for any RV. No dump site nor water at campsite, electricity very limited. Not much breeze can get into campsite because of foliage. The price was, if you stayed more than one night,$75 pesos a person,if you plan to stay only one night,it is $100 pesos a person.
