Solid campsite, down in an old gravel pit maybe? Tons of wasps, most I have ever seen, but they clear out as the night goes on. Also got pretty windy but died down eventually. Had some dudes try to pull in and ask if they could shoot down there for "15 minutes" so that was weird, but they seemed harmless.
Report Check-InNice level and quiet spot. Quite a few wasps around. The final descent is a loop, one side of which I wouldn’t even attempt in our Sprinter van but we got down the other side ok, although we tilted to one side a fair bit. One to two bars of Verizon and t-mobile.
Report Check-InGood site, but not suitable for trailers or RVs. The site itself is level, but the access is a bit tricky at the end if you are is a bigger truck with a camper. We actually camped at the Y above the road down to the site. Good view to the East.
