Great camping with great view of the Laguna. Toilets are clean and cost 5 Bob. lots of tourist in day but quiet in the morning.
Report Check-InGreat spot to stay the night. Laguna Colorada is beautiful, lot of flamingos and vicuñas when we were there. You can make a nice walk here, there is even a small kiosk were you can buy some beers or coffee.
Report Check-InLovely spot- the only legal place to camp in the area. Flat and flamingos were on this side of the lake in the am. Baños are about a ten minute walk up to the mirador.
As an aside, we took the more eastern route to get here because we read on iOverlander that the more western Lagunas route was really rough. Well, the eastern route is QUITE rough as well - about 70 miles of washboard roads and large potholes- some of the bumps were so severe our exhaust broke off and wrapped around the back axel. It’s doable but rough.
