You can park in their lot overnight. There are washrooms inside the centre. There is also a hose with water in the garden between the lots and a dump station that costs a small fee (free in the winter!).
Dump hours: Open Monday to Friday 9 to 5. Need to get key from municipal office after Sept 1.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Awesome free water and electricity spot! we slept in the parking lot.
Report Check-InGreat quiet, safe place to stay overnight. Dump available but locked. Tourist center closed after school starts(students work there) but just go over to municipal office and ask for key ($5) to unlock dump. Potable water from hose over on lawn by gazebo. Need 30 ft if using own hose.
Report Check-InPerfect place and very friendly locals here in White River. Other cities should have a look on this.
Quiet, fresh water (even an hose is here), dumping station. Thanks a lot for this place.
Arrived late (10:30pm), rv parking was very full. Parked on car park side and got knock at 10am asking to move.
Other rv’s had moved on by then so we moved to near the rv dump.
Quiet and away from road. All good!
Report Check-Insuperbe place pour dormir parx derrière l'information touristique avec aire de jeux et promenade pour les chiens. table de pique nique et à côté d'un A&w. Dumping station $5 et eau potable près du gazebo.

Report Check-In2023-06-13 Staying for the night. Very nice spot. Tourist info center was closed, but there were a couple of RV’S there so we stayed the night. There is a kid’s playground and park next to it and a huge parking lot also.
Report Check-InGood place to stop although the tourist info place is permanently closed and there was no water available at the dump station
Report Check-InGreat place for a night. We stopped here early June and there were 5 RVs overnighting. The tourist info seems to be permanently closed and the dump station was out of service - or at least no water available.
Report Check-InStayed for the night. End of may a lot of bugs and mosquitoes. Not very nice though but okay.
Report Check-InStayed one night. Quiet at night. I was there with a fifth wheel next to me so a lot of space for everyone
Report Check-InWhite River est très accueillante pour les VR. Bel endroit autorisé et tranquille.
Report Check-InStayed one night, two other RVs were here as well. Large enough for all RVs. Quiet.
Report Check-InLarge, clean & safe overnight parking.
Walking distance to A&W and Esso gas station & washrooms.
Nice quiet spit away from trucks. don't bother with gross trucks too nearby.
Report Check-InPretty quiet, gas station and A&W 5 minute walking distance and open until 10pm for washrooms. Two other cars were parked with us :)
Report Check-InI pulled in around 8PM and there were 5 or 6 other RVs in the lot. Easy to access and right beside an Esso, A&W, and the Winnie the Pooh Memorial. Great spot to stay if you’re passing through.
Report Check-InSmall Visitoe Center, friendly staff. Have free Books to take or to leave.
There is a Chips truck 2 min walk next to the A&W with yummy food and reasonable price
Very nice and quiet place. We arrived at 5h30 pm and we were only 2 RV
Report Check-InPerfect place to stay for a night. We were 4 RV/trailers and some truckers. There is a nice playground for kids and a big statue of Winnie the Pooh (White River is her birthplace).
Report Check-InTrès belle place, plat et tranquille. Nous étions 4. Par contre le dump station barré.
Report Check-InPretty quiet night here, no one bothered us. Woke up to see another camper here too. We used the dump but the centre wasn’t open so we had no rinse water
Report Check-InThe Tourist Information Centre was closed, but we checked with several people nearby and all reported that there is no problem staying overnight. Go to the back and you will not hear any traffic noise. A water hose is nearby as is a dump station. There was no sign indicating that a fee was necessary for the dump station. Very pleasant place. We were not able to get a password for wifi.
Report Check-InGreat spot! The center was closed, but the restaurant and gas station across the parking have convenient restrooms as well. They open early and close late.
Some semi trucks will rumble in and out of said parking at night, but overall it's pretty tranquil.
Report Check-InStayed here, we asked inside and girl said no problem. Actually by morning, there was at least 9 overnighters. Wifi was great, close to the tourist information center, they have benches and picnic tables to sit at. Was peaceful.
Report Check-InWe pulled around back across the parking lot opposite the dump station. Lots of room, we have a 42’ 5er. Had dinner across the road, walking distance. Wine & beer and lots of good food. White River bar & grille.
Don’t forget to visit Winnie the Pooh.
Had breakfast at A&W just the other side of the Tourism building.
Ok for one night, didn t any sign for no overnight parking. wifi at A&W (maybe at the tourism information in season too). A little noisy with road and trucks
