Very nice place to stay some days. Nothing much to do around, the beach is not very nice. But if you are preparing your shipping it's a peaceful place. The owners don't go ofen in this part of the garden so you feel it's a private place.

The pool is perfect, clean every day. Ablution simple but clean. 2 showers and 2 toilets. Only cold water.

Outside there is a sink to do your dishes or laundry. Several water tape on the property. A shed with a fridge that camper can use.

The price is 750 pppn. We stayed for 10 days, they did not agree to do a discount. They olso are doing a little flat it's almost ready but no kitchen at the moment. Don't know the price but you can ask. We visited it's very clean and quite big with private bathroom and a fridge.

20 minutes away you have a big supermarket (Quickmart).
Some restaurants around.

On Sunday the church is very noisy all day long... And not with pleasant music 😅

Two nice dogs on the property. A family of vervet is coming everyday. Lot of birds, querelle and hedgehog.

Yes it's a someone property not a real campsite but you can park where ever you want.

Big rigs not friendly.

We had a good time there, a good place for relaxing. Uli helped us to find a garage to repair our suspension, good and cheap. After the other comments we were a bit scared if we can get there but the road to the lodge is good and we had no problem to get with our 3m high, 2,30 wide and 6,60m long car.Everything else was fine and like described, the price is still 750ppn.

Report Check-In

Still a wonderful place with lovely people.
Just want to add, that you can store your car here safely under a roof.
Very convenient to Mombasa international airport.

Report Check-In

Looks great, but not BIG rig friendly. Decided not to chance narrow gate and tortuous route to campsite at rear.

We stood here for a good two and a half weeks. Hedi and Uli are two lovely people. The Swiss Hedi knows how to tell exciting stories. Hedi and Uli are very helpful. To fill up with water, they have a hose laid, and a cable is laid out to draw power. Clean pool, simple but clean toilets and showers. Difficult access to the garden area where you can camp. You have to drive over sometimes high roots. Access difficult for large and tall vehicles - problematic for a width of 2.5m. Space for big rigs is limited due to the low-hanging branches and high roots. Very nice tree population. Very well-kept property. Some baobabs. The side street leading along the property is busier than expected. Mosque nearby and on Sundays the church next door is partially annoying. And as someone has already written, it is not a campsite, but you camp in someone's garden.

A perfect place for Overlander. Heddi and Ulli are wonderful hosts. Clean bathroom and a wonderful pool. You can use the washing machines for a small fee. The garden where you camp is wonderful. Highly recommended!

Report Check-In

We loved to stay here. Hedy and Ulli were so nice hosts. We stayed here for 4 nights, washing our clothes with the washing mashine. They have also tents for rent or, if you have a truck, you can park here too.
This is also an ideal place for long-term parkers while you are away. Ulli look after your car. Highly recommended!

Report Check-In

Ulli and Hedi are very sweet hosts. The swimming pool was spotless as ever and the garden where you camp is extremely well maintained. After having been here 8 years ago it really felt like coming home. You can wash your laundry in the machine for a small fee. Rate camping: 850 pppn. Best to avoid the screaming and shouting of the next door ‘church’ on Sundays. Very peaceful and quiet the rest of the week.

Report Check-In

It is indeed a very nice place with nice hosts, but there is nothing much to do. You camp in someone's beautiful garden, but it hasn't really the 'campsite' feel. The beach is 15 minutes walk. The ablution block needs some tlc: no lights, toilets overflowing, only cold water.

Report Check-In

A very nice place for overlander to stay. A large area surrounded by trees, clean toilets and showers, washing machine available, swimingpool very clean. Hedi and Uli are very nice hosts who do everything to make you feel good and happy. Hedi is a wonderful cook and Uli can fix everything. You want to stay longer at this peaceful place, you feel secure and welcomed, highly recommended.

We loved staying here. Ulli and Hedi and their staff do everything to make your life comfortable. Camping in their beautiful tropical garden, nice ablutions, electricity on site, awesome swimming pool and a nice terrace with different seats and even a bed to rest on. Used her washing lines. Hedi cooked a nice meal for us too!

Report Check-In

A really nice place with Hedi and Ulli as great hosts. Beautiful swimmingpool you don't need to walk to the beach (about 5-10min.).
Camping 750ppn. Avoid sundays because of noise of church nearby.
Muezzin just next to the plot.
For a stopover an ideal place.

Stayed here again, loved it again, camping 700 Ksh.

Report Check-In

Very nice camping on green grass in the shade of trees. Excellent Swiss cooking by Hedi, there's always more than you can eat and reasonably priced.

Report Check-In

Awesome trees for camping & swimming pool. Extremely over-priced meals
