We stayed here just for one night before we took the water taxi to Caye Caulker. We parked close to the beach and enjoyed the breeze, then the wind stopped for one hour and the sand flies came..ouch!
We parked the van here for two nights in front of the restroom building ( 5 BLZ per night). It felt much safer to leave the van here instead of the city. The nice lady at the reception called a taxi driver for us to get to the pier.

Report Check-In

This place is open. I have stayed 3 times in the last 6 weeks. Electrical is available although use caution! They have a sani dump but only let me use it once. Free use of Kukumba beach. 16 Belize dollars/night per rug. Capacity for any size vehicle. Laundry and showers available. Very friendly staff

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

As described. Perfect spot to camp and park your rig while visiting the cayes.
Make sure to arrive before 5pm, that's when the office closes. Electricity and water is available if needed (at no extra costs) and the have a washer and dryer for which you can get coins at the office (3.50BZD per load each). Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. They can also help with calling a taxi to the Belize Ferry Harbour which costs 30 BZD.
Unfortunately we were bothered by a good number of sand flies - might be better to park closer to the water, where it is windier to avoid them.

Report Check-In

Just like everyone already said in here, it’s ja decent spot. Pretty simple and actually just a big parking area at a small marina. The stuff is really nice. If you need a taxi to the ferries to the islands, this guy was really nice: Gill Taxi 501-600-1210 (15 US$)

Report Check-In

Perfect quiet night, clean bathrooms, washing machine and dryer.
Didn‘t had sandflies or moskitos, maybe because it was windy.

Check in before 5pm.
Very friendly staff.

15 BZD per night for camping.
5 BZD per night when you just park (and leave to an island)

30 BZD for a Taxi to Harbour.

Report Check-In

The Manager told me, that you can also park your RV here if you are leaving to one of the islands. The rate will be 5,63 BZD per day (March 2023). I add a photo of the price list for staying with RV's

Report Check-In

Nice spot! Found the electric hookups. the restaurant and office close early (5:00?) so get here a little early.

Report Check-In

The place is really reasonable for around $8 and a good hot shower however the sandflies made sitting outside pretty unbearable. We sleep in a rooftent too of which they managed to get through the mozzie net so for us we didn't stay longer than a night. Otherwise a good place

Report Check-In

We stayed there for a night but left because of a lot sandflies .. If you have a big Van and can stay inside, its very nice - you have hot showers and toilets for a reasonable price ..

Report Check-In

We stayed two nights here and it's perfect for visiting Belize City (15min only) and the islands.
16Blz$ per night and 3.50 Blz$ per wash. Hot showers, clean facilities. Very safe place and very friendly staff! Free WIFI. I really recommend. Note that the reception closes at 5 p.m., but it is possible to enter and leave the gated area at any time. If you arrive later, it will be more difficult to have access to the key for the bathrooms.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Definitely marina first, but there's plenty of space for overlanders. Nice bathrooms, laundry ($3.50 BLZ for each washer and each dryer load). Can park very close to the sea and enjoy a nice breeze. Right next to some kind of recreation park that plays loud music in the afternoons.

Others have mentioned there's power here but I didn't see it (didn't look much either).

Paid $16 BLZ for a night for two people in a small van.

Report Check-In

Good place to stay. Electricity, WiFi, good hot showers, quiet, safe, there is a busstop to Belize City (7 km) and there are some snackbars on the other side of the camping spots. 16 US$ per night.

Report Check-In

very nice place to stay. toilets and showers clean and open all night. price is 9 usd per night for small campers. easy to get a taxi into belize city. paid 25 belize dollars one way.

Report Check-In

We stayed here and enjoyed our stay realy. Collet was very helpful and friendly. The Bathroom and Showers are clean with hot water. They also have awashing machine and dryer. The restaurant at the beach has fast food and the bar good drinks. Wifi is working quick. We also left the car here for a week when we went to the reef for diving. Very safe place.

Report Check-In

We were here one night. Same prices as it is described. It's per vehicle not per person. They give you a key to bathrooms and good Internet throughout all the parking lot, water and electricity also abundant. We ask permission to leave the vehicle stored here the next day and go to Caye Caulker, we leave 7am and return at 3pm. We took a shower and left without paying any extra charge. But we do not recommend doing it, the bus does not happen frecuently and when he passed did not stop, we had to pay a taxi to arrive, $5 usd ppr each way. In addition, the bus terminal is 3km away from the water taxi terminals. It comes out more expensive especially if it's 2 people or more. It is much better to pay $10 USD for secure parking at the Radisson, it is within walking distance of the water taxi, at the end it is cheaper on this way. Note: If you will use laundry service, you should buy coins before office is closed or you couldn't use it.

Report Check-In

It’s still open and it doesn’t look like being closed soon (maps.me takes you to a gate which is always closed). Nice enough to stay a night or two. Price still as quoted earlier (it’s per vehicle per night; check out time is 12:00 noon, if you are late they’ll charge you another night).
It’s a perfect place to park your vehicle while out on the islands. If you stay connected they charge the price for camping, if not it’s a mere BZ$ 5.something per night. A taxi to the seaport is BZ$ 20.

Report Check-In

This place was closed today. eventually it is on sell.
restaurant next by was pricey and average food.
Little resort with big pool and games on kukumba beach.
We did not find other options to sleep there.

Report Check-In

One update: the laundry has been out of commission for quite so time. The washer has stagnant water sitting in it. Everything else was very nice, especially the breeze.

Report Check-In

A dirty place. You can park your car between boats but it’s definitly no RV park as they call it. We were charged 3 days although we stayed only 2 nights. I told them, but the office insisted we have to pay each new day.

Report Check-In

With our big rig 30’ long had a bit of issue to find a spot as they undergoing renovating the marinas - on monday no waterpark or restaurant - no water at sites only electricity but normal hookups only - our ac constantly popped the breaker until we have turned off everything else - prices as listed above - anything longer than 25’ is 33.95 shorter 16.95 - ppl and staff very nice - token for laundry 3.50 - prices in bzd - i had a much better rv park experience before at other places - so if you can - find something else

Report Check-In

This place was great. Very quiet, very safe, everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend.

Report Check-In

Very safe Camping in the marina, if you want almost beachfront or more in the back where the boat park and toilets/shower are.
Super friendly and helpful staff, good wifi and super clean toilets (flush / with TP) and showers you get a key to access them
Electricity and water to fill up the RV tank available (included in the price)

16.88 BZD per night for camping
5.65 BZD to park to car while going to the Cayes or if you need to be pluged in they charge the camping fee
10 BZD pp entrance fee as customer of the camping in the nearby water park (instead of 20 BZD)

We had a very good feeling to leave our truck camper for a couple of days there while going to the Cayes. For us definitely the best option in Belize City because security is clearly an issue in town!
Private taxi to ferries docks = 15-20 USD
We took a shared car one way for 5 BZD pp and the public bus to come back for 2 BZD pp

Report Check-In

Arrived after five pm the first night and security told us we could park anywhere and we were to check in the following morning (office opened at 0730) You do need a key for bathrooms / showers / laundry from the office, so definitely better to get there before the office closes!

We were lucky and another couple shared their key with us!

Stayed here two nights. Paid 16BZD a night for our Westy.

Laundry requires a token from the office for 3.50BZD

Very clean! Amazing showers (had cold showers so cannot say if there was hot water or not!)

The office staff were very friendly and helpful and organised a taxi to collect us when we went to Caye Caulker for the day.

Felt very safe leaving our van there!

Asked and they told us the water there is not potable….

Report Check-In

Well... not the best spot ever.
WiFi ok.
Water and electricity too.

33,75 $ / night
30 $ / storage (we negotiate at 20$)...

So expensive.
Colette is nice. But... the other guy, not that much, at all.

The beach club is fine. You have 50% on the entrance fee when you stay here.

Won’t go again.

Report Check-In

Nice spot. Great electricity. Ocean views. Good wifi. Water park next door. Restaurant was decent quality, but pricey. No shade. $33.75 BZD per night for our bigger rig.

Very good place to park RV at belize city, to stay for a night or to go visiting island.
Colette (half french half mexican) welcome you with smile, wifi, washing machine and dryer.

Security night and day around boat

Water playground and restaurent within 3 mins walk

we are very happy with this place. its outside of the city and everyone seems to be quite nice. we are paying $16.88 BD for the night. we looked at all the other places on IO and all are not quite what we were looking for. we are leaving BZ for 3 weeks and they are making sure that our rig is parked very securely to the office. Homer is our contact and he is great to work with. it is only $5 BZ to park here while we go to the cayes. highly recommend.

Report Check-In

Nice spot. As said nice breeze that keep the mosquito away at dawn. We paid 11,50 bs for both of us. We put our tent between the boat to have more shade in the morning. There is a supermarket 4.8 km (we are by bike) away direction Belmopan. The water on the dock is drinkable .

Report Check-In

Nice quiet spot. Same as previously reported.

Report Check-In

same as descriebed : 17 bz, hot shower, good wifi , self laundry and very quiet

Report Check-In

Spent a night at the Marina since we needed to get some work done on our Toyota truck in the morning.
Stayed all the way at the end and watched the boats come in.
Very clean bathrooms with hot showers. Loved the cool breeze overnight. Nothing to complain, felt very safe for a night in Belize City.

Report Check-In

Clean toilets, hot showers, laundry machines. Camp right by the water for cool breeze and nice view. Delicious but pricey restaurant. And fun water park with giant slide, Tarzan swing, trampolines, etc which is free if you stay the night. My daughter loved it!

Report Check-In

I'm just on a bike but felt this was way too overpriced. lady wouldn't budge on the price. Left went 1-2 kilometers to the next gas station, asked if I could camp and slept there for free.

Report Check-In

Another of those places we intended to just crash for a night at, then spent 3 days.. :)

It is a working marina, but the locals are friendly, the bathrooms are spotless, and the showers are hot.

Also, the internet is fast in the evenings, mornings, and nights. It slows down quite a bit during the day as everyone starts using it. You have good coverage from two networks over most of the marina. We found it to actually be best down near the sea wall where we camped.

While it does have an industrial air, there is a nice dirt and grass spot near the sea wall with a few small palm trees. It's fun to watch the ship traffic in the bay and the boats come and go from the marina.

It's also pretty hard to beat the price, $16.88 bzd. I have no idea why they don't just make it an even number, but they always had change..

Report Check-In

A well protected area, felt really safe and paid 11 BZ at the marina office for two tents for one night.

Report Check-In

great place to stay
save and quiet
17 BLZ
good restrooms incl laundry

Report Check-In

Great place to store your vehicle while at the cayes, also as mentioned, hot water in washing machine and a dryer. We didn't use the showers but the facilities were ok. Javier is often on site around the snack bar and will shuttle to the ferry for $30BZ each way. Breeze died down around 2am and the sand flies/no-see-ums/midges were out with a vengeance.

Report Check-In

Homer in the office upstairs is the man to see. We paid 16.88bzd per night. Did laundry for 3.50 wash and 3.50 dry. Wi-Fi was fair. We hooked to power.

Report Check-In

great spot for a tent. we are on a motorcycle and it is safe to park (security 24h). hot showers, laundry, wifi, water, picknic area and we pay 5bz dol per night.

Report Check-In

this marina is a solid spot to park, but it's industrial. you will be among the boats. we were directed to an area that had electric connections but not water. you can pull along the pier though and fill up. This is a great place to explore belize city from or to leave your truck while you go to the cayes. it cost us 16.88BZ for the night.

Report Check-In

Nice Place, good flush toilet and shower, quiet.
we had some nasty sandflies at the camp.

Report Check-In

Camping at the old port of Belze City. Clean restrooms and showers, WiFi only near the office at the tower. There are only a few power outlets available and no there is NO shade. BZ$17

Report Check-In

Parking de la marina, eau electricite, WC, douches wifi moyenne, 16,88$b par vehicule

Report Check-In

RV/Camping site in a Marina just outside Belize City. Showers, restrooms, laundry. 17BZD (8USD) per vehicle per night. Camping next to ships being worked on. Interesting. Retaurant, and a near by resort you can access for 5 USD. Big water slide!

Report Check-In

Didn't find any Wifi, the toilets were under repair when we were there and there were a lot of mosquitoes. But it was quite quiet and there was a fair bit of wind which was nice.

We paid BZ$16.88

Report Check-In

The marina has also a laundry at the showers in front of the restaurant. It tooks 1 coin per load (costs 3.50 BZD, ask at the harbour office) and one for drying. Wash with warm water :-)

Report Check-In

Not a very nice camp spot. But good hot showers, wifi (does not always work). Not really tent friendly but you will be able to find a small grassy spot. Water and electricity available near the pier. Guards 24/7 (with dog family :) ) we stayed there over night to visit caye caulka.

Report Check-In

Good place to stay to visit the Cayes. Secure to leave your truck. Good wifi, restaurant and beach club. Showers, although a little way from the truck parking. $15B / night.

Report Check-In

We left our camper here when we went to Caye Caulker as well as camped here. The restaurant has good food, way better than the name TGI Crazy Gringo would suggest. – PROS: safe and friendly, hot showers, laundry on site (buy tokens in the office), restaurant on site, electric and water available, free (slow) wifi, swimming area (with giant water slide!) – CONS: quite a long walk to the bathroom, nothing within walking distance, it’s a 15USD taxi ride back into Belize City to get the water taxi out to the cayes plus another 25BZD return to the marina when you get back – 15BZD/night

Report Check-In

At the marina you can camp. You have WIFI, water, shower, toilet. It has often a breeze to strong breeze, so it was the two days here very cozy! Very quiet and very safe. Owner also very nice. 11.25B $ / night without electricity. With electricity it costs $ 15B. WC & showers were not very new, but we did the place still liked it. Water is good taste. Has no shadow, with the breeze, it did not bother! Attention, Sunflies if it has no wind!

Report Check-In

Good to stay overnight, water, electricity and dumping. Quiet at night, depending on the wind you can hear the street. WiFi. Night B $ 11.25 (without electricity)

To Belize City, about 5 km Hwy

Report Check-In

BZ$15 for night (includes electricity and water). Parking is at waters edge in the harbour. Access to beach resort (usually USD 10 per head but free if camping) – artificial beach with huge and very fast water slide – beware of sand flies. Nice restaurant and bar on site. Small shop. WIFI also available for Free. Can leave your vehicle here when you visit the Cayes.

Report Check-In

Big parking lot of the marina. We could park at the water with a beautiful view to the ocean. Hot and strong showers. Free Wifi. Coin laundry

In front of the marina a bus runs to Belize City (simply flag it down): B $ 1 / person. The bus goes directly to the bus terminal from where it is a 10 minutes walk to the swing bridge. For the way back you can take any bus towards Belmopan.
