Lots of options for street parking around all the monument parks near downtown. Just be up and gone by 8 am when meters start. Lots of restaurants and bars near by but quiet

Street parking with a curb slant we did not care for. Easy enough to find a few options, just mind the slant, in hind sight… would have pulled in a bit “further” from the curb.
Ended up moving to parking lot
“Forsythe Park” better for us.

This was a great place to sleep. Very quiet and safe. Walked my dog late with no problems. If you want or need to be close to downtown, this is perfect. But if you want to park for free for days without having to move your car at 8am, the historic district is better.

Parking lot for public tennis courts at Forsyth park. Really great for your time in savannah, easy access to daytime public bathrooms, centrally located, not too noisy. We really enjoyed !

Stayed a block away or so. SUPER quiet. Just stay as quiet as possible and be respectful.

Easy street parking, even for my extended Transit. cheap meters and free on Sundays. basically cost us $4 to stay Saturday night and two full days. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a great spot! We spent one night in our van parked on W Oglethorpe Lane and it was flat, within walking distances to lots of cafes, restaurants, and bars, and really quiet even on a Friday night. Would definitely stay here again. For nearby restrooms, I recommend The Coffee Fox, which is a few blocks north and it has great coffee and pastries (including vegan options).

We stayed there for one night. A bit noisy because of the bars, but that stopped soon enough. Free parking from 8 - 8 in the night.
