October 2022, any chance to get a SOAT here or in Ipiales. We tried 6 shops and any sell soat for foreigner car.

You can buy insurance here, the last person is wrong. Though, when i came the computer wasn't working and the guy said it was cheaper at Exito anyway.

This office doesn’t exist, but you find their selling booth at the supermarket close by at the square. You can buy SOAT, pay with credit card or get cash at the ATM inside the supermarket. Mind office hours and lunch break. Price varies depending cm3 of your car and other particularities.

Bien moins chère qu'à la frontière. On nous demandait 70$ et ici nous avons payé 40$ pour 2 mois pour un camper de 7,3 de cylindrée.

mala experiencia la srta del mostrador no quiso asegurarnos el motorhome por no figurar en el sitema dicha descripción. volvimos a la frontera y en otra oficina de la misma compañía no tuvimos problema en obtener el SOAT

Paid 103.000 for 3 months for a moto (200cc). It's possible to pay in dollars, but no interesting with their exchange rate. When your enter in the supermarket you ll find the office on your left.
