I had a trailer parked about 500 yards off the road and got a warning to not camp at this location. I was not in the parking lot where the pit toilet is but on the “Outer Loop” in what looked to be a site previously used.
Report Check-InThey have several signs up now saying “no camping/sleeping in your car”
Report Check-InConvenient but busy - pretty constant traffic in the lot and on the highway nearby. Toilets were decent enough. Camped overnight during a MTB trip. Would definitely stay again but only for a maximum of 2 nights.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for 1 night in a camper van and had a great time. There was only 1 other car staying the night. The place gets pretty busy in the morning with hikers and cyclists but it was no issue. Loved the view of the mountains with Vegas off in the distance!
Report Check-InGreat parking lot for the night. Not too loud or busy. Verizon cell service kinda sucked
Report Check-InGreat little spot to park a little trailer and there's even some amazing hiking / biking
Report Check-InLarge parking lot for the trail head... pit toilet. Right off the Hwy but noise is not that loud, slept just fine. Stayed 2 nights while visiting the canyon park.
Report Check-InI arrived late, in the dark. There were plenty of spaces left to park. I found it a quite place, regardless the highway nearby. I slept in the car and felt very save. I'd recommend this place, cause it's close to Red Rock Canyon.
Report Check-Inparked here for two nights, nice spot. quiet at night and no one bothered us. you will see a few of other campers park here. there is outhouse with no water or trash. and few trails starts here. we got good signal of verizon too but not t-mobile.
Report Check-InStayed two nights with no problem. Perfect if you mountain bike, this is a good trailhead. Shared one night with a few vans/rv, second one we were alone. Sadly secondnight a few cars came in in the middle of the night to party (loud music and left a fire in the middle of parking). Probably doesn't happen all of the time but remember you are close to LV... (we saw a Ferrari video shooting in the parking)
Report Check-InHuge partially paved parking lot with a section dedicated to RVs, a pit toilet and a partial view of Las Vegas and city lights. We asked cleaning crew about staying and they said it's "probably OK". We stayed 2 nights without issues. There are no signs that say "no camping". It's close to the highway so there's a bit of traffic noise. Fairly good Verizon service here. Good hiking trails begin here.
