Mexico
This Place is right by the Ocean.... shady... super beach. You can walk to Mazunte. Basic but clean facilities. Just the road to reach here is a bit rough ... but just 100m. He has even WiFi. And great restaurant just next door. I can def recommend this place. At the moment is price 100 pp. Obviously prices are changing everyday.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I asked, and was told there's no place to park a camping vehicle. Appears only tent campers welcome.
Report Check-InPlace doesn’t exist anymore. There are other spots but the area and the street it’s not really big friendly (low trees and narrow road)
Report Check-InSweet place for tent camping! Under the trees, cooling breeze, pretty salty so your gear and vehicle will need a good rinse.
Cold water showers (perfect for this climate) WiFi, 10’ walk to town.
Definitely recommend it.
I think this place changed since the last recommendation because now it has a shared kitchen. It is a small place but has shady places to park. You can connect to electricity and has wifi (slow to work but ok to communicate). It has only one rustic bathroom with cold shower for all the camping area. On January the weather is perfect. We saw bioluminiscence and even wales at the beach in front of us. I think is the best place to stay at Mazunte, nice ambient and beautiful view. 100pp.
Report Check-InDirectly at the beach. No wind and so very hot at night. Toilet and shower rustic which is ok but really not clean. El Copal has a nice Pool but now ask for 350 mex/pp Consumption in order to use this, which is what we thought too much.
Report Check-InA bit hard to get to/rough road but we made it with our 2wd sprinter without problem (just some low branches/narrow turns). The road from Oaxaca through the mountains was much slower than we anticipated so we arrived just after dark which made the entry a bit harder. The place itself is amazing though, RIGHT on the water and you end up with the whole beach to yourself in the morning, definitely recommend
Report Check-InGreat find in Mazunte. Emiliano and Rosa are very sweet hosts. The place is simple, but has clean bathrooms with shower, plenty of shade with hammocks and a beautiful uncrowded beach nearby.
A big bonus was the nearby Copal. If you eat and drink there, you can use their infinity pool with views overlooking the beach. They also offer daily yoga, just have to give a tip to instructor. (Amazing practice!)
Charged $100pp.
Report Check-InGreat camping by the most amazing beach in Mazunte. Emiliano the owner is charging 100pp but definitely worth it. Woke up in a virgin beach and enjoy one of the best sunsets on the hamacas by night. Super chill and cozy environment. Cold shower and barhroooms are good.
Report Check-InIt is super simple place but close to the beach. Obviously prices are changing everyday... Last month it was 70 pp now it is 100 pp.
Report Check-InDisppointed about that place.
Shower was poor, slow wifi, no kitchen, just one plug for electricity... and now charge 100pesos camping in tent.
Beach is awesome
Very friendly place. About two places for rigs, maybe three. Hard packed sand. Dog friendly (two local dogs around). $80p/pp. I think the best perk is being right next to the copal restaurant which has a million dollar view and an infinity pool with the same view (pool hours 8:45am-9pm). All it takes to use the pool is a simple purchase from the restaurant or bar. Food and bar menu incredibly affordable considering the view and quality. Mahi mahi tacos were nice. They make their own mezcal too.
