Camped off the do-able dirt road (unless there’s torrential water in the rivers —then the crossings might be dicey) at this location (gps is at intersection of “main road” and little road) about 15 miles SE of San Javier. Fantastic little side road to pull in as far as you can— about 1/3 mi to river .— where a great camp site would be (see pic). We stopped short of the rivers edge because low branches were hitting the camper. Stars, cliffs, geology — can’t be beat! (Also included a pic of one of the 4 (?— lost count) river crossings : main section is sandy dirt that will get sloppy when wet or wash out but an alternate all rock — hence bumpy — way is slightly up stream. No damaging surprise rocks on road but if you can’t see the border rocks then you could get in trouble .
