Super helpful.
if there is a problem filling your propane bottle ask for the manager who will get the help of his engineer and English speaking colleague.
Changed my bottle valve, plus fitting and refilled for 160sol.

Amazingly fast. Arrived, knocked on the small door built in to the gate ( the place looks like it is closed - it isn’t ) and the guard “Martin” took my 9kg ( 20 lb ) standard US removable tank, without question, and returned in 5 minutes with it full ! It was already half full - we just wanted a top up while we were nearby - and it cost just 16 soles . Highly recommend this Costagas place and it is easy to find with parking right in front.

Good spot to fill US propane tank. Make sure you arrive in the morning. Had been turned away multiple times in the afternoon.

YES, got our US fixed tank (ACME fitting) filled at last. Went in the afternoon and got turned away, but we came back at 7am as requested and got filled in about 45 mins.

The truck with the connection for fixed tank leaves at 8 am for its city tour. So if you get up early, you can fill your tank between 6 and 8 am. In the evening, the truck driver said he usually comes back at the plant between 3 and 5 pm.

We came in at 3pm and the truck was already there so we filled our 10 gallon fixed tank. They only charged us 30 soles which was awesome!

They filled up our fixed 30L Propane tank with their truck at 3:15pm. We have a Chilean Adaptor and it worked fine! It's hard to find gas in North Peru so stop here if possible.

It's the only place we found in North Peru, the could fill our gas tank. But you have to wait until the gas Truck returns to the Station It's between 3-4 pm. We paid 88 Soles for 12 Gallons.

we were able to fill out vw westy fixed tank (North America adaptor) directly from the truck. Had to wait for the truck to arrive.

at last, a success ! We came from Equator and we had 3 failures before in other areas. They have US connector for 15kg bottle !

Everybody knows about empty propane bottles. There is a good place and the have the USA connector.
