Description

A little noisy, you can hear freight trains running overnight in the distance, but I’m a light sleeper. Found a spot in the back to park my truck top camper. Overall felt safe and secure.

Safe truckstop overnight place to sleep..noisy as a truck stop is.

Emplacement un peu moins bruyant complètement au fond du stationnement à droite le long de la forêt. Il y a une table à pique-nique et c'est très bien éclairé.

BIG truck stop (Pork'ys!!) in a kinda of mini Las Vegas style place 😂
I arrived late last night (14nov.) so didn't had a chance to see all the possible places I could park but here they were 3-4 RV already.
a bit loud as a stuck stop would be but no highway sound, at least.
will take a walk later to see what's around and come back.
ps.: I'm here for a couple a days so if you pass by, come say hi! (black pick up with little trailer 😊)
UP DATE: There's a lot of things here! gas stations, convenience stores, restaurants, gift shops, bars, motels, arcade, a camping and even a motocross trail in the back!
super cool place with super nice people!!

Was told by security that we could sleep here with no problem.

We spent the night next to the big SOTB sign. Tons of parking available, and the place isn't as busy as it used to be back in the day. Lots of highway noise from I-95, but nothing a good pair of ear plugs can't fix. Security patrols the lot all night.

This place sure has fallen on hard times. I first stopped here back in 1964. There was no I-95 then. Last time I was here was about 15 years ago. Restaurant nearly deserted. Only on waitress on duty. Checked in with Security and they said overnighting was permitted. I didn't stay at the truck stop because dark and spooky for me. Stayed at the main lot across the street. Brightly lit but VERY NOISY with the interstate only a hundred yards away and big rigs roaring past all night long. Fortunately I can sleep through most anything so for ME it wasn't too annoying. There One thing I'll give them credit for is that the restrooms, in a stand alone building, were super clean and had an attendant. Would I stay here again? Probably not.
