This site is inside a National Park; it’s not allowed to camp here.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Definitely not allowed to camp in the national park here. A ranger came by in the morning and wrote us a ticket.
They want you to pay for each day you enter the park, and to camp in a designated campground. So, stay here at your own risk :)
Report Check-InNot far from the glacier Perito Moreno.
Opposite from a speed sign you’ll see a track towards the lake that ends in a clearing. On your right there is a second clearing, that’s it. A snug place with level space and wind shielding. Nice view and not visible from the road. Absolutely hidden.
But of course you’re officially not allowed to camp inside the park.
