Mexico
Park at the GPS location and walk up through the farm and natural forest. Great birds, butterflies and views of volcano. Turn sharp right towards the volcano as soon as you through the gate.We asked a lady if ok to hike around, she was fine with it.
We managed a 4.4 mile hike on the different trails -- lots more hiking than what we did.

Tourists very much don't appear to be welcome. Not marking as permanently closed as I didn't speak with anyone to confirm, but the big red 'Prohibido el Paso' was fairly clear..
Report Check-InAn avocado plantation walk with volcano views sounded good to me, so I came up here - there's now a big red sign just before the turnoff that says the area is not a public space, nor touristic, and entry is therefore strictly prohibited, without exceptions. I was almost tempted to ask if they'd make one, but it seemed pretty unequivocal so I didn't!
Report Check-InPerfect location to see the volcano and have a nice stroll! Only a few Mexican tourists.
