Arrived here wanting to stay in hotel that’s on iOverlander, but it was closed and it has a gate that is too low for high vehicles. As I speak Spanish I was able to ask around as it was already 6pm and they let us stay at the Internado of the school (Bunch of red roofed buildings at the beginning of town coming from the west). It’s the local boarding school. It was Sunday so he the guard let us park behind the fence. Kids had just left for the weekend but if school is on I don’t think you can park here. Right next door is a group of armed men that ‘guard’?! We didn’t feel all that comfortable about it but had a quiet night. Music in town in the evening and lots of people about. Cold at night!
