Stayed for a night. Less wind, less highway noises, beautiful view. We saw lots of whale fountains!
The sea lions where a some km more north.
Report Check-InLots of space. Some people pass during the day, peaceful at night. Sea lions just below the road.
Report Check-InStayed here overnight from Thursday to Friday and it was very calm during the night. Only a few cars passing by during the night. A bit windy because it's really close to the beach. We saw lots (LOTS REALLY) of sea wolves and sea lions on the beach, by the shore and in the ocean. We also saw wales a bit more distant from the shore. We could only see their water spills. Also we felt safe there. No one was around or bothered us.
NOTE: please try not to bother the wildlife. Don't go down the beach. I know it's tempting, but these interactions are not good for them, as we may transmit diseases. Watch them, take pictures, but leave them alone.

Report Check-InFor us the perfect spot around here. Quiet, only a bit of road noise and sheltered from the wind. You have a stunning view over the ocean, no one around, some garbage. High clearance recommended.
Report Check-InAmazing place to park a van or rig, even with a tent if you can get it held down on the road or on the old gravel verges. Right next to the sea. The old highway is accessible from north or south. It's surface has been broken up every 100m or so - so that cars can't drive up here - but it is possible to drive around the breaks so that you are below the new highway, and thus escape a lot of the noise. You can simply park on your choice of old highway - flat, level enough given the camber of the road. Good mobile signal - 4G, able to stream Netflix.
