Nice spot at a marshland laguna. Beautiful view and a lots of birds. You can see the dunes from here. Very quiet.
Drive the gravelroad until you reach the gate. Turn right into a narrow sandy track about 20m before the gate. Slightly off camber at very start, flat beyond. Not suited for big rigs. There is no option to hide but there is not much traffic because it's a road to a salt factory.
Telcel reception.

As Described. Very Quiet. Can hear lots of birds in the evening. Hope to see them in the morning.
Report Check-InNot the best place. Lots of trash and many flies. But is ok for 1 night.
Report Check-InWe had a problem finding the entry point from the main road, cause we were driving in the dark, but we spot it eventually and then we just followed the road until we liked the spot. The area is a huge marsh with a hard-packed sand road crossing through so you can easily find a calm place far away from the road. We stayed 2 nights and liked it a lot. We saw a few cyclists, plenty of birds, and a coyote who apparently thought he was a dog.
There's a low Movistar signal. Nights are quiet and calm. Nobody bothered us here.

Report Check-InWe camped here for one night. Nice spot, very exposed. The steep camber at the entrance was VERY NERVE-WRACKING in our high top Promaster van. There is a second entrance, at the power pole 74 which is how we got out, but be aware that this spot right by the road is a soft ditch with potential to get stuck. Get some momentum before rolling out. We didn't come in this way, only out. There may be another potential way in at power pole 56, or between power pole 51 and 52 as well but we did not explore this.
This area is a marsh so be wary of the ditches however it seems that 99% of the roads are packed, smooth, and decent!
The California's are at the tail end of a few years of drought, so if it's a particularly wet year your mileage may vary!
Report Check-InWe stayed here for 3 nights and it was lovely. Very quiet & peaceful. The sunrises & sunsets were gorgeous. Plus some wildlife you can watch from your parking spot. You’re very close to town without having to deal with the noise. Service wasn’t great but at night we could stream Netflix from AT&T. The road is packed sand so we had no worries about getting stuck. The only weird thing was the amount of single shoes throughout the area.

Report Check-Inentry directions were great, seconding the off camber spot right at the start, our 17ft and suv were fine. the rest is flat with space to turn around. such interesting low flora/shrub and so many beautiful birds. wonder if we can pull in or drive along the seaside road that continues on. will update.
Report Check-Injust pulled in .... pitch black and can't see much but it's a quiet place to crash.
Report Check-InAs described, we are in a Ram Promaster Van. No issues with the slightly off camber entrance. We stayed one night. Phones showed 3G and LTE off and on with no actual connectivity.
Report Check-InEstuvimos 2 noches muy tranquilas. Un poco frío durante el día y la noche. Estuvimos dentro de nuestra combi bajo el sol sin problemas. 4g full muy rápido.
We stayed 2 nights, very quiet, completely alone. It's a bit cold all day and more at night, incredibly! We stayed insiste our van all day with not shadows, not any problem as it was cold. 4g full, very fast.
Report Check-InGood spot for the night. Quiet, no one around for miles. Probably a few spots long the road that would work for a night or two. Cell service still works fine. Can go for a long walk down the small road that parallels the lagoon.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot to spend the night free. All as described. A bit windy in our stay. No birds this time. Sticky sandy salty ground. A bit smelly due to algae decomposing. Left next morning.
Report Check-InNice spot at a marshland laguna. Beautiful view and a lots of birds. You can see the dunes from afar. Very quiet.
