Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Rigos Guest House Las Peñitas does not existe anymore. Now the place is called Casa Verde, not a guest house now it is a community center for recycling and workshops for kids and families.
Report Check-InThis place is Ok to stay for a Couple days. The property was not in its best shape as most of the places in Nicaragua are closed or mostly abandoned due to the socio political situation, I think we were the only tourists in las Peñitas. The price was the same a mentioned below. Nice decks overlooking the ocean. We felt safe through all Nica and hope the tourism will come back soon
Report Check-InGreat place, owner nice.
WiFi kitchen and hammock are included. Still the same price
Recommend
Nice place but just found the owner going through our bags, heads up! Don’t think he took anything but still a bit concerning...
Report Check-InSecure place to stay under trees. Showers (cold) and restrooms are old but clean. We could use the kitchen and all other facilities. WIFI is ok. Garden is a nice chill area. Property has direct beach access. We payed 300 Cordobas for 1 night.
Report Check-InStayed here three nights. The facilities are cleaned daily. Everyone is super nice! Very relaxed and quiet. Oh, and they have two adorable kitties. Highly recommend it.
Report Check-InNice place. It's a guesthouse so a lot of people is staying here. When we were here it had a good vibe. Kitchen can be used, although it is a mess.
It seems that the municipality cut the water during the day, so don't expect a shower at all time. It is possible to fill the water tank of the rv (when the water is back). Very nice beach front. Paid 300c for two adults and three kids.
Super nice to stay here. We payed 150 c$ per person and if you want electricity you have to pay another 300c$ per night. Stayed in our camper without electricity.
Report Check-InIt seems they have raised the price. They initially quoted for 150COR with electricity but we bargained for 100COR without. Beautiful spot to chill!!!
Report Check-InThis place is great. They used to only have certain days for camping but they have changed that and now all days are fine. It was a really chill place and room for a couple of smaller rigs..probably 3 or 4 max. We were able to park in the shade near the bathrooms. They bathrooms were clean and the shower was really warm from the sun...perfect temp. There is a full kitchen inside and also a sink to do dishes/laundry outside. They only have one dog now and 1 cat and 1 kitten. Their dog was just a puppy, really sweet and barked at our dog for the first 10 minutes and then they were friends. I would highly recommend to stay here and then do a day trip to Leon if you are going there. Also, the owner said she might have a place that people could either stay in or camp outside that is right on the edge of Leon. I am attaching a photo of her card if you want to contact her about it. Beautiful sunsets and beach at this place too.
Report Check-InVery quiet place to pitch your tent or your van!
pretty clean toilet and showers, paid 100 $C p/p for pitch my tent. Not enough place for big RV, prefer small vans or SUV
wouldn't let us camp here, said they were doing work on the property. we camped at hotel Roca instead
Report Check-InVery nice place, right on the beach! It was a little bit difficult to drive in with our 25 ft trailer, but we made it! 100 cordovas per person per night, with electricity and you can plug the water hose to fill the tank.
Report Check-InThe owners Rigo and Martha, host Norwegian student groups who study there from February to Mid April, and Sep to Nov. During this time they only allow camping from Thursday to Sunday night. Nice place to hang out.

Report Check-Innice, quiet. we stayed 5 nights. Slow internet. Paid 200 for 2 people with electric
Report Check-InGood place and right on the beach. We also parked behind the house with a lot of shadow for our roof tent. Paid C 100 pp. there is wifi, cold shower and clean bathroom. Calm and safe.
Report Check-InGood place to stay and only option for us. For all other places we were just too big. Friendly family with two dogs. Dogs were no problem, the older one just did not like our young dog. Place itself is ok but a bit messy. Could park in the shade and paied 200 c per night with electricity. Good base for a few nights and to visit leon.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for three nights. The garden in front of beach is nice. Camped behind main building. Plenty of shade. Quiet place but a bit dirty. The family that lives here with children but don't take much care of the place. Nevertheless the place is nice and quiet even during the weekend. Slow Internet. Cold showers. Not so clean bathrooms. Kitchen available. Electricity on site. Very friendly owner- when he visited the place we agreed on 150 cordobas per night (originally it was 200).
Report Check-InVery comfortable place to stay, beautiful shade, grass to park on and a fantastic beach out in front. Can use the kitchen facilities there. The owner and everyone working there is very friendly.
