Sudan ENTRY (all price in SDG):

900 (they wanted 4'500 first) local car insurance 1 month
47'000... carnet stamp
6500 ministry of transport + county

On Sudan side it's hard if you don't speak Arabic, if you can find a man named Ali Kuku he will help you for a small fee. I didn't trust the other fixers but he is a good and honest man.
We didn't have a good time at this border crossing it's long and exhausting and the building of passport control has the strongest smell of pee you could imagine so come with plenty of rest and well fed. Come with a full tank it's a long drive to the first city and few petrol station working.

It is a big border post, they say (24/7) lots of trucks and busses. We did not use a fixer, but it can be quite annoying and frustrating. Officer are always friendly but you can not negotiate. The Bank was closed do to holidays, but you can get EP at the Sudan side for a bad rate. 22.00 we got out yeah!
