Location off the main road with nice view. Camped on a small flat outcrop next to a small side road. Very quiet, only two people passed on bikes. Free.

Best of the three on this side road. Amazing view! There weren't that many people passing by on a Sunday. Got quiet after 6pm. Absolutely loved it.
Report Check-InNice spot, great view. Agree with other comments in this area, if you are really looking for the isolated desert feeling, camp in the Valle de Las Constellaciones. We were here on a Tuesday night, motos passing by on this side road at least every 10 minutes until 10PM. Everyone was friendly, not a problem, just not quite what we were expecting, there are a lot of people living out here!
Report Check-InMuch quieter than the main area around the observatories. But road is super bumpy and in may take you approx. 20 minutes between the two locations. Nice desert feel on the outcrop, although lights are visible in the distance.

Report Check-InGreat wild camping spot with a view over the area. Stayed here with two cars, not a single person coming by while we were here. Not really visible from the main road. There was a small fire place so not the first people camping here. Almost level spot and would suite big rigs within reason.
