The place is nice!
The band is amazing!
They didn’t offer a key for toilets and bathroon in a room, just a small and “public” ablution…
7 km gravel road in not very good condition but doable slow slow… so much mud now!

Camping is 150rand pppn. We camped on the lovely lawn with mountain views, with access to a rondavel for our own private bathroom. We did a brilliant pony trek (5 hours 550rand pp). Food in restaurant was really good. Really well run place very integrated into the local community. Highly recommend.

Pet friendly. Staff is friendly, professional, very helpful. Amazing views.

Amazing place. We camped in our roof tent, but Bob gave us a room too for the same price so we could use the toilets/ shower. Came for 2 nights, stayed for 6. Restaurant is good, especially the lunch menu. They can arrange hiking guides and pony treks. Glen (owner) is a really great guy, and goes out of his way to help. Definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed this place. It’s old but fully functional. It feeds greatly into the surrounding community. Is run on solar power and gas. Enjoyed the band and pony trek.

Report Check-In

We were told to camp on the edge of the lodge not between the chalets. Very uneven campsite paid R135 per person per night. Ablutions terrible for that area of the campsite needs updating and more regular cleaning. Common area very run down and dirty. Inside of coffee shop and bar also run down. Electricity for our ablutions and common area only last 1 hour after sunset. Hiking routes not marked to push people to hire guides. On a plus side loads of hot water in showers.

Lovely place with very helpful staff, especially Bob. Nice hike to Botsoela waterfall, too bad that because of the severe draught there is only little water. We paid R130pppn but got the key to room 34, so had private toilet and shower. recommended!

Arrived just before sundown. Plenty of available rooms. There were three of us. Originally reception asked for 300+ rand each for a room. We talked them down to 210 rand per person for a private room with private bathroom. Two of us in one room, the third in a second room, as the rooms seemed to only have two beds each. Nice and hot water. There is a kitchen, but not many utensils or other things for cooking. WiFi is 25 rand for 250 MB.

The price is now 135 ppn. We had music at 17h30 in the garden

Price wanted: 130pppn. We got reduction of 20%. after asking. Riding to the San-paintings was very nice and we'll organized (300pp for nearly 3 hours)
WiFi with vouchers at the bar. Evening meal available. At 5pm Choice and local band.

Nice Lodge with Campsites. Clean Ablutions and communal Kitchen available. Quite and relaxed. Wanted 120 ZAR pppn but we negotiated 110 ZAR pppn.
Wo drove here from Mohale's Hoek, it's around 60 km (one Way) on a relatively easy and beautiful Dirt Track. Could be done with 2WD when dry but with a 4WD it's easier (higher clearance).
