We arrived in thick fog, but what we could see looked good! We appreciated the warm dry restaurant and friendly staff.

Overall, it’s fine, but extremely overpriced (now 450 ZAR for two). You have everything you need (power, hot showers, washing up areas), but we thought the pool area was overrated - there are no chairs to sit on so you can hang out and enjoy the space, and it was extremely crowded with day visitors taking selfies.

The wifi was very good though (even at the campsite) and the restaurant was really delicious.

Wir waren zum Lunch hier. Gutes Essen bei netten Service. Pool mit tollem Blick über die Schlucht! Campingplätze sehen auch ganz schön aus.

great campsite with lot's of trees. also challets with a great view. one of the most beautiful swimming pools that I have seen. slow wifi in restaurant. reasonable ablutions. around 250zar ppn

Been wanting to visit the campsite for a while now and it did not disappoint. The view from the pool is incredible and you also get a small view from camps 20 & 21. A must visit!

Excellent camp, the downside is that it is very expensive, the payment per traveler, even children pay 150 rand per person.

After the last bad review I was actually hesitant to go here and was therefore positively surprised. There is lots of space at the campsite (which are level ?!)
Each campsite has a PowerPoint, Braai drum and dustbin. Huge semi indoor area with sink. Laundry room with 3 washing machines and dryer.

The pool and the view is stunning. And yes .. no view from the campsite into the gorge, but nice tall trees and birds chirping around.

Would definitely recommend to stay here. Enjoy <3

We are pretty much disappointed. Very narrow camping sides without scenic view. The panoramic view you can enjoy only from one of the cottages in the first line (1.000 ZAR). Sites are not level. The worst camping we had within the last 6 weeks. Only the restaurant is nice with really scenic views. The rest is not attractive for overlanders. I would have preferred one of the roadside parking spots further north.

We arrived with the full camp in the clouds. It was pretty busy because there is a week holiday inn South Africa.
The next morning we could enjoy the views.
Paid R340 for 2 adults and a campsite. the children were free this time.

Highly recommended! Still everything like said before. They even provided us with wood for a campfire for free. Amazing place to stay! The pool is just exceptionally good!

nice Camp site with Electricity, water and huge braai ... and a few cute brown cats, at campsite. the main attraction is clearly the swimming pool, really great. the restaurant is a bit pricey but great with nice staff. wifi around restaurant not really convenient. new price : 340 Rand for 2
camping enherbé très sympa. l'attraction principale est la magnifique piscine donnant sur la vallée et les cascades, le wifi uniquement au resto pas très pratique. resto très bon mais un poil cher. 340 Rands pour 2.

Wonderful terraced campsite for trucks also. Clean ablution with hot shower, braai, electricity and watertape on each place.
Dishwashing and kitchen with roofed seatplaces, washingmashine and dryer.
Nice view from the very good restaurant. Friendly and organized staff and owner.

A bit stingy for the price we paid (no hand soap, no toilet paper).
Lovely lady at the restaurant and delicious meals. Had a great dinner.

Excellent place! Price is still the same - we paid 310 rand for two with car. Birds are still a bit noisy but woke us up at our usual get up time (6-6:30am). They have laundry facilities here - washing machines and dryers by the looks of it! Great camp site with a great view - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

one of the best campsites I've ever seen. nice shady campsite, some sites with a view. beautiful ablution with hot showers and bathtubs. we had a braai stand, water tab, dust bin and electricity. the pool is amazing and worth a dip, even in winter, it's not that cold once you're in ;)
the only two downsides: they have lots of birds and roosters which make noise all day, there is always some bird who makes noise (which can be annoying). also we asked for a hiking trail and the lady said there is one down to the valley, it is steep but doable and we have to pay 20rand as a deposit for the key for the gate. well there was a terrible way through thick forest and thorn bushes and then we couldn't find a way down. when we got back she suddenly said the 20rand are a fee and not a deposit, what a cheek!!
but other than that, beautiful place within a good location to do stuff.

Nice place to go when it's a warm day because of the amazing pool with a great view. There is no construction work anymore. Price is 90 rand per site and 60 rand per person. No extra charges. Very friendly owners, restaurant has good WiFi what you can use around the pool as well. Ablution block is clean and pretty new with nice hot showers with a lot of pressure.

maybe a nice place, when they are not constructing like at the moment. It was more a construction site than a campsite.... the start working in the morning, during the hole day an at 5pm the owner startet driving a excavator over the place and he did it until 6pm.. it was very noisy and it´s a cheek, that we had to pay the full price for this place.(210 Rand for 2 people and the car) There are 3 or 4 cocks that crow during the whole day, and they start at 4 o´clock in the night !! That is very annoying. The Ablution are ok, the sink for doing the dishes even has no warm water, i had to take it from the bathtub... the owners are friendly and the shop is nice, at the "restaurant" they serve simple meals, it was ok. the best thing here is the pool, which has a breathtaking view. Wifi is free an available at the Restaurant.So this is a place where you can come, if you don´t want to relax or sleep late..

Great campsite set on the Mpumalanga escarpment providing epic views. Campsites don't take in the main view but do get glimpses of the ridge and are well set up with braai drum, bins, power and taps (1 for every 2 sites).
Good ablutions with excellent showers: piping hot and great water pressure.
On site shop/cafe with free wifi.
Stunning pool (almost infinity like) and built in trampoline.
We paid 210 rand for 2 people during peak school holiday period.
Good base for exploring the Blyde River Canyon. If so, would also recommend visiting Potluck Boskombuis for lunch, 18 km north of Berlin Falls. Beautiful setting and delicious, traditional South African food. Try the bobotie!
Would highly recommend this campsite.

Great place as described below. Cheap, self service washing machines @ R10 per load! (cycle of approx. 30 mins.). Too bad the restaurant serves microwave/ready meals.

Very nice place with fantastic views over the lowveld, very good and spacious ablutions, camping on grass with electricity, tap and braai stand, café with wifi and walking distance to Graskop, very good value at 175R for two (11€)

great accommodating hosts. amazing views from pool and lower camp spots. felt at home thanks to owner and amenaties, kitchen, pool, laundry brai pits. paid 175 for two and a car camping but they also have chalets. security guard at night. some street noise but quiet after 10.

Very nice place with a stunning view from the swimming pool. Good ablution and good and free wifi in the restaurant. Price was 175 Rand per night for 2 persons and a car.
