Latest Check-Ins

This wouldn't be my first choice of places to stay typically. First of all the general camping is backed up right to a fairly busy highway, though it looks like there is other camping areas. I was specifically sent to by the highway. Secondly they often hold events in the nearby buildings, which can also be noisy and run later at night sometimes. (Rented out to the public). There is also a dirt racetrack right next door which can be very very noisy if a race is going on. Also you can't stay during the fair so check the dates.

The location wasn't busy as far as camping went. It is pretty cheap for the area I suppose at $25/night (water/elect) or $154 a week (max 2 weeks). Dump station available. ($10 for non-campers). I mostly just needed a place to stash my rig for a week so it worked, but I can't necessarily recommend it for a nice experience. Staff was fine and all, but location maybe not idea for me. Power was 30 amp. I think some of the areas may have 50 amp, but depending on whats going on they may not let you stay in those areas. On the plus side it is fenced in, though the gate remains open. It's far enough from town there isn't an issue with homeless bums that I saw in the city.

SO LOUD from the speedway RIGHT NEXT to the campground. It's super cheap so you get what you pay for though! $25 for power and water - only a single dump on site - and $10 dry. The showers are only lukewarm, and the building is exposed so it's freezing and miserable (at least in the winter time).

Report Check-In

$25 a night. quiet, easy place to stop for a rest.
