Turn here left to the big transmitter. Drive through and then around 200-300 m, find your perfect spot with beaitiful view. In the morning we were just upon clouds. Magic! And not a single person. And the road here from Chimala village is also picturesque. We stayed night and all next day.

Still an amazing spot! We passed here a full day + night and weren’t disturbed by anyone. No noise at night. You are wel hidden from the road and from the signal tower (where somebody lives now). Also lots of wood around to make a camp fire. When you are on the road next to the signal tower and get to a crossing, go left here so you drive a bit down the hill towards some trees.
Report Check-InIt took us approx. 1:15 h to get here from the main road. In some parts the dirt road is very washed out, especially in the steep corners. We drove up with a Landrover Defender -it was good possible but in some parts a bit challenging. We passed the Signal-Tower and found a beautiful spot after a few hundert meters on the left hand side. Beautiful sunrise included :)
We would not recommend this road for big rigs and would avoid it during rain.
Report Check-InThere were a couple of guys at the tower when I drove past, I think someone must stay there permanently by the look of it. One came out to talk to me, very friendly. Used sign language to ask if it’s ok to sleep down in the trees and he said yes. There was a bit of a barrier up on one access, so I went along a rougher road that’s a little further up to get in
Report Check-InNice place with plenty of shaded space for 4x4 or tents. There are some freestyle firespots and a lot of paths around. There was a fire not too long ago and some vegetation is burned. It almost looks like this place is supposed to be a rest area for hikers... Even the remainings of a pit toilet! Just follow one of the paths and you will find it ~60m southeast of the camping area in the young forest. It has no more walls around but the hole in the ground is intakt. Some locals walked by but all friendly.
