Description

THis is the kind of place everyone is searching for: When we asked for a place to pop the top for a night, George (he's the friendly guy running this place) told us that he likes people who are travelling like us. When i asked how much it is, he said: just drink a beer or two at the bar and maybe have some food. So we did. We had delicious Nachos and cold beer at the beautiful giant patio. He offers Wifi and bathrooms (without showers) in the bar. The property is covered with small trails that lead through the jungle. We saw a toucan and sometimes you can even see up to Volcan Baru in Panama. We really liked it here!

Spent the night here prior to visiting the vet Dr Castro 15 minutes away in San Vito. We had dinner, pasta and ribs in the lovely dining room and spent a very peaceful night in front of cabin 4 in a large flat turnout. No facilities at all but our visit to the dining room meant we could stay for free. Excellent spot.

Very pretty property. I was able to camp on the upper terrace near the cabanas. Didn’t try the restaurant, but locals said it was good.

Wanted to check in here, but hotel was closed that day. So we stayed on the small parking lot just outside the gate which was ok for a night.

Couldn't get to this place coming from Ciudad Neily.
Very steep road couldn't get to the top.
Turned back after 7km.
My 21 ft rv ( fiat 2.8 turbo ) was suffering too much.

A really awesome place to stay before crossing the border! Beautiful garden and some good short hikes in tue property. No shower unfortunately but clean bathrooms in the hotel restaurant.

It’s an informal campground (it’s a hotel first) but where they place campers is a serene little garden. Could stay here a couple of days.

Price is either $20 or free if you eat dinner at the restaurant. Pretty good BBQ.

Our cat loved it here!

What a beautiful and peaceful place! The parc where we could stand, a real paradise on earth! The bar restaurant almoust a museum, collection of indigenous art and much more.
Fine food, lovely staff
Quiet place and tomorrow we surely will be awoken by bird's song. We would have üassed a lotif we had passed the border to Panama without stopping here

We stayed here for two nights. It was nice to set our hammock up in the garden beside a table. You can use the bathrooms inside the restaurant, when it is open. They do not charge for camping, only that you consume from the restaurant. We had food with us so only ate one meal per day. In the end it still cost more than just paying for camping elsewhere, but the atmosphere was nice and the food was great. George and all the staff are very nice. Beautiful place!

As described, same deal, great place, friendly owner. Good food, try the pork ribs slow cooked. We have seen a beautiful toucan. Free if you have a meal per day at the restaurant.

Awesome. Beautiful property and beautiful bar. Food cooked on an open fire grill. Great steak!

Staff and owner (George) are really nice. Wifi reaches to the parking area and is pretty fast. We were tempted to stay an extra night, but had to get across the border.

Very nice place in a beautiful surrounding, grassy place, cool walking trails. Very nice owner too, George. Had a few drinks, snacks and breakfast. Restaurant/Bar closed on mondays.

Report Check-In

George is great and this place is very accommodating. The cabins are very clean and well built, Toucans everywhere in the morning, trails and lush gardens everywhere. Food is fantastic and very reasonable. Wifi is free, and toilets very nice (no showers yet for camping, but he's working on it). Breakfast included in stay :) Thanks George and Warner!

We expected to stay one night, but we like it so much, we're staying another night. Access to the back was easy, there's green grass to park on, the temperatures are moderate, the grounds are beautiful and the food is great, as is George and his staff!

Report Check-In

Staff was courteous and quickly showed us where we could park. Had an excellent meal at adjoining restaurant. Wifi not as fast as advertised on app.

Great place & very friendly owner. Camping is free, but like the others before us we had a few drinks at the bar. Nice trails as well and we were allowed to fill up our water tank!

George's place is great! There is plenty of space in the backyard. We slept in the front parking lot because it was muddy back there. It was still very quiet. Cabins rent for $75-$85, but he said he can offer discounts. Pretty place.
