Beautiful Free campground on the little Slocan lake. Close to Valhalla trails. Went up with our Mercedes Vario 4x4, camper under an Apple tree.

Beautiful lake with 6 sites. Came in from the North in a 1 ton 4x4 pickup with #tinytruckhouse on the back. Road was rough but passable. Site was clean but a bit brushed in. 2 pit toilets were clean, some sites better than others. Boat launch with easy swimming access. 7/10
Report Check-InSuch a beautiful spot. We entered from the south and the road was recently grated with some washboard and left to the north which had been grated the day before but was still rougher than the south. We are in a 4 runner and a 6x12 cargo trailer, had no trouble but was slow going in some places. We stayed in the middle site as it had the most sun and we have solar. Had sun until about 4-5pm. Busyish (only six sites) on the weekend but quiet during the week. I caught a little fish but was told bigger ones exist lol (I'm a newbie 😉) free and up to 14 days. 10/10
Report Check-InNice little recreation site, 6 or 7 camp sites on a great little lake, no motor boats allowed on Lake. All of the mosquitoes!
Report Check-InCame in from south, 4x4 not necessary as road is very drivable with regular car (we are 4x4). A few potholes but nothing major and some washboard. Beautiful Rec Site, nice lake for swimming, canoeing or paddle boarding. 6 sites only 4 occupied today. 2 pit toilets, clean. Very peaceful. Pack it in and out so others can also enjoy.
Report Check-InYou can come from north and south. The road from south was fixed and it has less pot-holes. Anyway, we didn’t stay because the recreation site was packed but you can find a lot of spots along the road.
Report Check-InGreat little spot. Definitely don’t come in from south of Slocan, I believe there might be access through Vallican. The road was brutal and completely washed out so we had to turn around and go through Slocan. First night was busy but was ok. Well maintained site, do your part to keep it clean
Report Check-InDescription like bevor. The forestroad is well maintained so 4x4 is recommended but not necessary. There are 6 spots with benches and table. Near the access to the lake is a nice spot under cedar trees wich offers space for a few tents and cars. Great lake for a paddle trip
Report Check-InThis campground is located off of Little Slocan Road which is a Forest Service Road leading from the town of Slocan. This campground has 6 spots. Beautiful views of the lake. Pack it in, pack it out.
