Costa Rica
The hostel is $15 USD per person (hostel dorm rate)- pricey, but it includes a POOL, HOT showers, clean bathrooms, fast wifi, electricity (need an extension), outdoor kitchen/dining area with sink (but no stove), a restaurant on site, short walk to groceries. There are private rooms if you want them.

Used to be a hotel and they just put bunk beds into the rooms to make dorms.
No kitchen, but an expensive restaurant (3$ for a small beer!). 14$ in the 8 bed dorms. 10$ for parking. Paying with credit card is 5% surcharge. AC in the rooms only from 10pm-10am.
The only good thing are the hot showers.
Stayed here two nights and took a 4-bedroom with two of our friends. Price was 10USD p.P.p.N. We could also park our van inside the Hostel area for free and had electricity for our fridge. The other option would have been to pay for a dorm (11 USD P.P.p.N, low-season price). and our friends could have taken a Doublebedroom which was more expensive. Parking lot of the hostel is big enough for any kind of cars/rigs.
From here you could take a Taxi (7USD) to the termals. Just ask at the reception.
