Corps of Engineers, stunning lakeside dispersed camping. Major cleanup on 4/22/19. There’s a no camping sign posted for one section but it’s open on the left. Ranger encouraged us to stay the night and to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Saw two bald eagles fishing. Wish we had our kayaks.
permits are now through Recreation.gov. we did not stay but did visit the site to see all new gravel parking area and original parking area cabled off and 2 portable toilets. Nice spot for boating fishing no fire rings.

Report Check-InTons of locals here, probably due to covid. Barely found a spot to park and there's no level parking at all!
Report Check-InGood campsite by the lake, for car camping turn in left, and pull all the way up to the rope fence, just in the other side is one fantastic spot. I stayed for five days without trouble. Lots of local traffic on and off the lake.
Report Check-InNot really a campsite, just an open dirt/gravel area where you can park overnight to the left (but not to the right side where there is a no camping sign). None of the spots are level and there are tons of bugs right now. That said, the lake is beautiful.
