Description
A lovely restaurant in the city of Cuenca. The Belgian owner Joël prepares delicate international food every day from fresh products bought at the market.
You get juice + starter + main and dessert for only 3,5$, and for such quality it's unbeatable!
For example you can get vegetable tempura, homemade soupe, pesto pasta, Iranian style rice, Thai curry, milkshakes, smoothies, etc....it changes every day!
We went to have lunch there everyday since we discovered the place, it's sooo delicious!
The ultimate place in Cuenca if you got tired of the ever same almuerzo.
La Belga is located just one street souther, in the calle Pedro Toulop on a little square.

Place to be in Cuenca. Joël cooks like a chef !! Best (belgian) fries in the country, cheap (3,50$) and delicious lunch. Good beers and coffee and you even can play some boardgames ♟️🎲.

Reviews are good so tried it out. Very disappointed. Had a vegetarian dinner for 4.50 and it was awful. Nothing was fresh and vegetables and rice with peanut sauce was bland.
Report Check-InYesssss, this is a must-visit if you want a healthy, cheap menu del dia lunch or dinner! We had lentil soup, pineapple juice, zucchini and chicken curry and a banana flambé dessert for $3.50!!!! Awesome!

This place was empty when i went here at Monday lunch, which is a travesty. Very good lunch for 3.50

Report Check-InAbsolutely great! The kind of place you would become a regular if it was in your city.
Indeed the foods are great and change everyday, but also a nice decoration, nice music (IAM et Jacques Brel en Équateur 👌) and a unique attention to the customer.
The price is really correct too ("international foods at a national price" according to the logo)

To find the place you should take the calle Pedro Toulop a bit souther than the calle Gran Colombia (where it is currently showed on the app). might be fixed soon by the admin.
