This location is a bit wrong. Asphalt starts 1,5 km more to the North.

Gravel roads begins or ends. When driving North to South - first section is mostly loose gravel, danger of sliding, overheating engine, flying pebbles. The next dangerous section has segregation on the road making the drive bumpy. Driving faster on these segregation smoothens the ride. The 3rd section has blind curves with uphill or downhill. Beware of long trucks around corners. There are few petrol mines which transports lage machinery and tankers, some blind corners do not have support vehicle to warn on coming traffic.

80km of gravel road. Some time good, some time less good.
Deep gravel, some sand and washboard.
But I pass everything in circa 2hour with my motorcycle.

The ripio starts/ends here.
About 80 km of ripio.
We didn't find it too bad.
If you have been in carretera austral, this ripio is OK for you.
